”My sister and I needed a quick getaway from the world and found refuge in this sweet little cottage that is right on the creek. The cottage was pristine, fully eqipped, quiet and tastefully decorated. My communication with the owner, Jane, was "easy breezy". Our favorite part of our stay were the sights and sounds of the water! It was truly magnificent. ”Much of the typical Lake George activities were closed since we visited during April, but we were very happy to stay here and will definitely return! It was the perfect space for us two (with extra to fit an additional friend or 2). Owner provided towels, pans, grill, coffee, etc for the stay which is greatly appreciated. It was close distance to anywhere we needed to go for groceries, activities, stores! Sad to go but I look forward to future travels here :)”

”Everything is new and works well. Cottage was spotless and prepared well. Check in process, door locks, internet etc all perfect. Just a little too early in the season for leaves on trees, so didn't get the secluded feeling that we imagine would have been there just a couple of weeks later. Visited with our standard poodle - he loved it. Excellent dog park nearby.”

”The cottage was perfect for our stay and exactly as listed. The location is excellent, in a nice neighborhood and conveniently located to the many restaurants on Main Street. It’s only about a 50 minute drive to the wineries on the North Fork. Check in was easy and smooth and great communication from the owner. The cottage is located in a beautiful backyard that we were also able to enjoy. Would definitely rent again for a future trip.”

”Very unique octagon home. Nice dark sky for telescope viewing. Would love to come back in spring/summertime to see the gardens that are outside the sliding glass doors and walk the nature path to the waterfall. (It was pretty cold while we were there, and we were visiting family, so did not have time to enjoy the surrounding beauty. ) Bed was very comfortable, and we slept great!”

”We enjoyed our stay so much and wish we could have stayed a little longer. Place was perfect for 2 and a doggie. The view of the lake was awesome. Nothing like waking up to that view. Located near Countless wineries, breweries and lots of things to do, including kayaking to see the Falls. We enjoyed that quite a bit. Highly recommended!”

”For a peaceful getaway this cottage will serve you well. It’s a long walk (15 min) to central Woodstock and also feels quiet and away from the hustle bustle. Fully equipped, cozy, quaint place. Perfect for - couple and a small pooch, if you have one. Easy communication with owners rep.”

”First off the Host Michael was amazing. Second the location and serenity of the creek was outstanding. If you are looking to layout in the sun bbq and have a couple of drinks this cozy place is it.
