Additionally, we realized that the telephone number provided in your booking was incorrect, making it impossible for us to contact you via phone. We are working on refining our booking process to avoid such problems. Regarding the elements that were out of our control, we understand that the cottage's location on an organic vineyard means that there are natural elements we can only attempt to manage. During extreme heat and in areas where food is present, it is unfortunate that ants and flies can find their way in. We'll continue our efforts to minimize such occurrences. Furthermore, we acknowledge the issues you faced with the bathroom faucet and the kitchen sink draining into the front garden. These were indeed unintended problems with the pipes, which have now been promptly fixed. We have also addressed the problem with the dishwasher. We wish you had informed us of these issues during your stay so we could have addressed them immediately. Regarding the absence of air conditioning, we want to clarify that we do not advertise as having AC and our houses are traditionally constructed with thick walls and small windows with shutters, designed to keep the heat out. However, we understand that different guests have varying preferences, so we provide fans to ensure maximum comfort during your stay. It saddens us to hear about your negative review, especially because our team was in direct contact with you throughout your stay and at check-out. Regrettably, we were not aware of the difficulties you were experiencing at the time, which hindered our ability to address them promptly.
