Todella tyytyinen
Päällimäisenä mieleen jäi hotellin siisteys. Kylpyhuoneessakaan ei ollut mitään epämääräisiä kosteuden aiheuttamia kasoja, kuten huippuhotelleissakin voi olla. Petivaatteet olivat myös puhtaat ja mukavat. Palvelu oli erinomaista ja henkilökunta puhui melko hyvin englantia. Aamiainen oli myös hyvä, joskin melko mannermainen, joten joillekin ehkä liian epäterveellinen. Itse pidin kumppanini kanssa kyllä aamiaisesta. Se tarjoillaan kello 11 asti,joten aamu-uniset ehtivät nukkua hieman pidempään. Sijainti oli hyvä, ranta oli heti vastapäätä tietä. Vanhaan kaupunkiin jossa ovat suurin osa kaupoista ja ravintoloista oli 15-20 min kävelymatka. Hotelli myös yhtenä päivänä yllätyksenä kiohuviiniä coolerissa, pieni panostus hotellilta ja iso juttu vierailijalle.

Very nice hotel for a fair price
The word 'great' is not enough to describe the incredible staff of Alma di Alghero. And I'm literally talking about every single employee there. They must have a great work environment there or something because every single employee was super friendly and positive during our whole stay in there. About the hotel generally: The rooms were clean and spacey enough. Also, there was a free wifi that actually worked in our room very nicely. The breakfast was quite nice too. So, considering the price of the room, we were more than happy about the quality. The only small downside was the soundproofing of the room. It was possible to hear some quiet sounds from other rooms every now and then. However this seems to be a generic problem in Italy and it really didn't matter so much because the Hotel was just long enough away from the road, thus the only sounds were coming from pipes and other rooms, not from the street. ps. I really recommend renting a scooter from a rental place near by. It was almost too much fun to drive around and find new beaches and stuff near Alghero.

Our main difficulty was in obtaining bus tickets which we were told by reception would be available at tobacconists. On the whole they were not and we had to resort to a taxi to visit the old town. Otherwise it was a great stay.

Nice appartment. Wasn't clear that this is not in the hotel with acoording amenities to us. We heard that this happens more often, so please check if you're not in the separate building if you are looking for a hotel. The appartment is great, location is good but on a really busy road with lots of revving engines all through the evening. Service of the appartment host Tina is great, she tried her best although we had different expectations about the location.

Everything was great except for the weirdness where they control the temperature and lights in your room. Unless you’re in your room with your room key, like let’s say your partner is running somewhere, the lights go off. When I called them however, they adjusted the settings so I can still control the lights. We did ask them to set the temperature lower so that was unique as well. Besides that the breakfast is amazing, service was friendly. We are AMEX platinum users and we didn’t get the perks so that was our only complaint as well. They weren’t even aware that AMEX was associated with their place.

Fijn maar klein appartement
Wij hebben met gezin met twee pubers in het appartement gezeten. Het is mooi nieuw gebouw op super centrale plek aan zee. We werden opgewacht door Tina (dank voor de fijne service). Appartement is goed uitgerust maar wel klein voor vier personen. De kinderen hebben geslapen op een los onderschuif bed en een bank. Niet perfect maar prima voor paar dagen. Lastig vonden we dat de handdoeken niet gewisseld werden na paar dagen. Zwemmen hebben we gedaan in zwembad op dak van het hotel dat op 300 m ligt. Daar kan je ook sporten. Al met al een prettig verblijf voor paar dagen.

Fantastisk service. Tina som modtog os på hotellet, er super sød og meget hjælpsom. Hun var der med det samme, når vi havde brug for råd og hjælp. Hun hentede os i sin private bil, da vi ankom med bussen til byen, det var meger fornemt. Belligenheden til strandene var perfekte og byen lå kun 15 min til fods. Spisesteder og supermarkeder, var lige om hjørnet. Lejligheden var dejlig ren og lys med en god stor terasse. Udover det, skal Ekspedia også have en stor ros, da I altid er hjælpsomme og meget venlige.

The hotel is nicely situated across from the beach and walking to the city center was nice. It is definitely not a 4 start property. The bathroom has no ventilation and a sewer smell, but it has a small window unfortunately without a net, so keeping it open to get some air meant letting bugs in. Breakfast was good. I wish there was a notice at the room minibar with pricing for the products inside. There was no indication that you have to pay for water, we became aware of that at the checkout. Parking was expensive and the promised credit for the VIP Expedia member was not given. Nice hotel but definitely not worth the money paid.

Sauberes Hotel in guter Strandnähe so das man anstelle des kostenfreien Dachpools in 5min zu Fuß auch sehr gut direkt das Meer erreichen kann. Ausreichend reichhaltiges Frühstücksbüffet mit frischem Obst, Desserts und frisch gepressten Säften - über den Zugang lässt sich das Frühstück dann direkt auf der Dach-Terrasse mit Meerblick genießen. Die Zufahrt von der Straße aus zum Hotel war bei Anreise Nachts leider sehr schlecht erkennbar und nicht ausgeleuchtet - das Hotel liegt nach hinten versetzt - so das wir mit unserem Mietwagen mehrmals an der Einfahrt vorbeigefahren sind. Die Zufahrt/der Zugang selbst ist bei Tages-Licht nicht so schön; streunende Katzen und die Müllcontainer des benachbarten Appartement Hotels tun ihr Übriges dazu. Parkplätze befinden direkt am Hotel sind aber über Nacht leider kostenpflichtig. Die abendliche Parkplatzsuche in der Nähe ist ein Glücksspiel. Alles in allem war es für uns aber in Ordnung. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und das Personal sehr freundlich

Séjour agréable
Séjour très agréable hôtel que je recommanderai avec toutefois quelque remarques concernant le parking très étroit et place très petites et pas assez nombreuses, et les chambres pas très bien insonorisées. Sinon l’hôtel est dans un quartier calme, très propre et le personnel attentionné est remarquable.

A bit shocked at the cost of this hotel for what we got. Almost €1,700 for a week in the most tiny, basic room we have ever seen. Zero perks, not so much as a bottle of water on check in. I raised this with the lady at reception but they did not seem to care and nothing was done. We booked mainly because of the rooftop pool however on inspection, this was unheated so effectively unusable. As someone who lives swimming, I couldn’t even swim in the pool once which was very disappointing. Breakfast was nice and the ladies who served the breakfast were all lovely and very cheerful. However, we will definitely not be returning here due to the crazy price and zero perks.

The Alghero Gem
The Hotel is modern, well decorated , bar, gym, clean, excellent breakfast indoor/outdoor on the 4th floor, rooftop pool with panoramic views of the Bay/ Scogliera di Capo Caccia, very close to the beach, a 15 mins walk to the Old Town. Car parking on site. Staff are courteous & helpful. Due to the unavailability of a room in the Hotel, we availed of an Apt in the Hotels Apt Building some 300 metres away, in the direction of the Old Town, which was modern well decorated/clean/ secure & close to the beach. We had full access to all the Hotel’s facilities with an excellent /varied breakfast at a cost of €10 per person. Highly recommended.

We stayed in ALMAR apartment. The communication with the personnel was perfect from the beginning. Tina took good care of us during the stay. The location and the view was great. If one tries to find something negative: microwave oven would serve sometimes and you better bring what you think you need. Overall in all cases: well done!

I was in an apartment about 300 metres from the hotel. Unlike the hotel this is on the main road so very noisy. The cafe/bar kiosk opposite the apartment played very loud music continuously until 2 am on Saturday.

Unterkunft sehr sauber. Man fühlt sich gleich sehr wohl. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Zimmerwechsel auf Wunsch problemlos am nächsten Tag möglich. Fast die hälfte alle Zimmer ohne Meerblick da das Hotel nicht in der ersten Reihe liegt.
