”I think that the greeting could’ve been more polite or more helpful. The air condition in the room was leaking water, which I reported and someone did come right away, but the problem still continued to happen that floor was wet. Also, I think the pillows should be replaced on the bed overall our rate might stay with courtyard in North side Myrtle Beach is a 4.5 and it didn’t compare to what I seen online if not that I won’t be staying at another courtyard because I will just not this one.”

”Front desk staff were not friendly but got the job done. For a cheaper hotel that accommodates pets, it got the job done. The location is very desirable for my family. Pool was clean, breakfast was better than expected. Hotel did need quite a few fixes like lamps, carpet and other small details.”

”Villa rooms were very dated and not very clean. Resort double booked me and was not helpful at all in resolving the problem. Two different guests who checked in before us also had problems with their reservations. We were locked out of our rooms after one trip to the car with our luggage even though it was two hours before check out time. We had to find a housekeeper to open the door to retrieve the rest of our luggage. We were told the staff must have entered the lock out time incorrectly.”

”Private beach access. One point to consider is there is no elevator, so ability to use stairways is a must. ”

”Hotel and rooms are very dated. We had a family suite, furniture is very damaged, dirty and chairs wobble from old age. This simply needs to be renovated. Very unfortunate- nice location. 3 years ago - then a beautiful room. Management acknowledges complaints - does nothing about it. They will renovate next fall. They milk it out until they can. I say- look further”

”I’m not sure why this isn’t rated as a 5-star resort. We actually booked it the same night we checked out of another hotel that was dirty, outdated, and nothing like the photos (North Beach Resort…I’d recommend staying elsewhere). Thankfully, we found an incredible one-bedroom oceanfront suite here with a full kitchen, a pull-out couch, and a Murphy bed in the living area, giving the kids plenty of space while letting us enjoy our own room. ”The best stay I have ever had”

”The privacy of the one bedroom suite was nice. It was good to have sleeping space separated from the rest of the area. We booked an ocean front room with a balcony. While we were definitely facing the ocean, between you and the ocean is the pool, people, noise and activity that goes with that & DJs. I would pick a different resort for that reason alone next time. We are usually people who love sitting out on the balcony, watching the ocean and having a coffee or drink. We didn't do that once...
