”The location is absolutely perfect to access the beach, activities in the community, places to eat and play. I have stayed at this location at Barefoot Landing many times. I believe I can sincerely call it 'my preferred spot" when I visit Myrtle Beach. Would be absolutely wonderful if a complimentary breakfast and bottled water are included. The staff are friendly and supportive. The lobby is comfortable and you can gather with family and friends and even make new acquaintances.”

”Front desk staff were not friendly but got the job done. For a cheaper hotel that accommodates pets, it got the job done. The location is very desirable for my family. Pool was clean, breakfast was better than expected. Hotel did need quite a few fixes like lamps, carpet and other small details.”

”Villa rooms were very dated and not very clean. Resort double booked me and was not helpful at all in resolving the problem. Two different guests who checked in before us also had problems with their reservations. We were locked out of our rooms after one trip to the car with our luggage even though it was two hours before check out time. We had to find a housekeeper to open the door to retrieve the rest of our luggage. We were told the staff must have entered the lock out time incorrectly.”

”The rooms and facility is very old. Infact ended up staying on a stinky room for a day even though it was called deluxe room. Will not book again with them.”

”Private beach access. One point to consider is there is no elevator, so ability to use stairways is a must. ”

We actually booked it the same night we checked out of another hotel that was dirty, outdated, and nothing like the photos (North Beach Resort…I’d recommend staying elsewhere). ”The best stay I have ever had”

”I recently stayed at Ocean 22 by Hilton and overall had a good experience. The room was nice for the price and the property itself was very clean and well maintained. The balcony view was excellent, and the location offered easy access to both the beach and the pools. There were a few maintenance issues in the room. The sink in the master bathroom drained very slowly, the shower was smaller than expected, and the faucet trim plate in the bathroom was loose. The couch was also not very...

”The privacy of the one bedroom suite was nice. It was good to have sleeping space separated from the rest of the area. We booked an ocean front room with a balcony. While we were definitely facing the ocean, between you and the ocean is the pool, people, noise and activity that goes with that & DJs. I would pick a different resort for that reason alone next time. We are usually people who love sitting out on the balcony, watching the ocean and having a coffee or drink. We didn't do that once...
