”The hostess and her charming house were full of character. We loved her personality and the ability to connect. Sweet, charmingly furnished room has a private bathroom nearby. The room was pretty small but had a wardrobe and a couple of little tables, so enough space to make things comfortable. Just a unique place in a beautiful and worthwhile town. The Verdun Battlefield visit was very moving! ”

”What I especially liked was the ability to park on the property, with is in an outlying village of the Strasbourg metropolitan area, and bus it into the city - there's a regular service, takes half an hour, cost €2.50. It's a unique sort of property, an enclosed series of buildings, half-timbered in style, repurposed to local uses and tourism. The host is as brilliant as other reviews note - nothing too much trouble. ”
