”Very strict policies. Don't arrive early. Don't arrive late. Also be prepared for a long lecture about your duties and responsibilities as a paying customer. I don't think I've ever felt so stressed about staying at a hotel. I actually felt the need to take photos of all surfaces and rooms before check-out just to be prepared for the much advertised spot-checks. The funny thing is that with all the emphasis on guest-cleanliness there was a smell of mildew at the elevators and bathrooms, cobwebs...

”Overall an alright stay. Rooms are comfortable but the ones facing the street are noisy due to traffic and partying during the weekend. Staff present only in the morning. Good breakfast options i. e. not only English breakfast.”

”In the heart of Hebden Bridge, this property has the perfect location for the town, surrounding walks and the train station. I enjoyed my stay and it was exactly what I needed for my time there. Thank you to Mark who made check in a breeze and responded to all my questions quickly.”

”Room basic but clean. Facilities are slightly tired but adequate. The only slight complaint was that the shower was not much more than a dribble but the water was warm. Staff helpful and friendly. Note: Hebden Bridge is hilly and the hostel is up the hill from the town centre. It is not that far and should not put you off using the hostel”

”Upea historiallinen majoituspaikka. Sijainti täydellinen. Hiljainen, rauhallinen huone. Siisti. Aamupala oli runsas ja henkilökunta ystävällinen.”

”Lovely little space, perfect for a few days’ break, close to Hebden Bridge. Appreciated the back yard, skylight, parking space. Will come again!”

”Room was clean. Plenty of space, living area, bathroom and kitchen appliances (washer and Stove). Staff were very helpful, polite and assisted with luggage on arrival. Given directions to public parking lot just around the corner, with entrance from the rear of the pub also providing access to the parking lot. (Pay and display). Lot clears out after school day ends, and first hour free, no charge 6pm to 8am, the first hour free the next day. Had supper at the venue, good food, basic menu....

”Friendly and”

”Beautiful property. We really enjoyed our stay here, it was so cosy, clean & well looked after. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, they made us feel very at home and were very attentive throughout our time. Great location and a short 5 minute drive to Haworth. Highly recommend using this host and also their property. Thanks for a great stay ”

”Outstanding hotel. A real surprise and gem. Fabulous staff.”

”Great - clean and not too far in a taxi from Sowerby Bridge (steep incline if walking!)”

”lovely hotel to stay in, i keep coming back, beautiful rooms, with everything you need”

”Location..it has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. ( need a car) Rooms are very comfortable, tea /kettle etc. Stairs are a little steep. staff are lovely ,had a very pleasant stay. We arrived Saturday lunch time, they had a party of 40 in, but fitted us in and it was delicious! staff attentive and it arrived quickly so all good, so I am very sad ( and surprised ) to say breakfast was poor ! we didn't opt for the buffet and cooked ,rather just the cooked, it took ages to appear...
