âThe hotel needs a lot of care and attention , cleaning which is a most. other parts need cleaning.I use the GYM when I was there, Equipment's need updated , .Lot of other places are rusted, meaning to old , good clean down.Needs a better fan for bathroom /shower, especially when having to do ANOTHER 2 IN THE toilet. NEEDS MORE STRONGER SUCTIONS. WINDOWS NEED CLEANING PLENTY COBWEBS IN EVERY AREAS.
Rubbish even outside the areas need to be emptied daily, Areas where you are aloud to smoke...

âWhile close to town center getting there requires a walk up a very steep hill--not suitable for old people. The hotel was helpful in terminating our stay after one day. A well placed hotel for younger people requiring a basic hotel. Breafast was good. Evening menu should be avoided.â

âLovely, interesting old building in a very good location.
Given the age of the hotel there are the inevitable uneven floors and slightly steep stairs.
The free parking at the rear of the hotel is a real bonus.
Our room was comfortable, well equipped and pleasantly decorated.
The breakfasts were consistently good but sadly the hotel does not provide evening meals.
All the staff were cheerful and very helpful.
We would definitely stay here again.â

âOk but do NOT book in the summer!! Only one room has air con and the heated towel rail can not be turned off! Even with the fuse removed (owner advised we remove). This made the bathroom ridiculous hot which filtered through to the room.
Room wasnât the cleanest, stains up the walls from coffee (I hope)
Aircon in all rooms would make it much more comfortable and the rest could be overlooked.
Staff were fantastic though.â
