”Lovely old pub right next to Chelmsford rail and bus stations. Very welcoming bar staff. Rooms are really nicely decorated with tea and coffee making and separate secure access. Really great value and centrally located for all Chelmsford has to offer. ”

”I’ve stayed here several times now when in Chelmsford for work. Lovely place, nice staff, rooms are fab and reasonably priced. A short drive to a park and ride into Chelmsford so perfect for me! Will definitely stay again and recommend!”

”The room was absolutely delightful. The shower room & bathroom were spotlessly clean, with plenty of hot water. The tea tray also had a couple of packets of biscuits. I liked the fact that I could switch the radiator off at night. The window also opened. The bed was comfortable. I will return.”

”Room was very clean. A big undertaking considering the building works outside. (There was a chute right outside my window. Brick and muck on the window sill outside). A very big well done to the Cleaner!! Your Reception Team were charming, friendly and very helpful. Always smiling. Excellent!! Breakfast, which was included, was very good, except the sausages - very poor quality. I would definitely stay there again. ”
