”Extremely friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room with amazing extras like free water bottles and high quality shower things. The location was great, there were shops, restaurants and markets on a walking distance metro was right outside of the hotel. Good sound proof walls (didn't hear a thing from hallway / other rooms) and surroundings felt safe coming from a solo woman traveler. Overall a very pleasant experience!”

Hotel is in a beautiful old building. Hotel owner Nuno was great and gave us many useful tips. Location of the hotel is very good. You can come here straight from the airport with one metro. And then it is easy to move around the city with metro stop right next to the hotel. Hotel was very clean.
Only minus points were moisture in room and bathroom because of inadequate ventilation and soundproofing could be better.

”Had a really good week while staying at Ibis Lisboa José Malhoa. The location is a little outside the most populated center of Lisbon but within close distance to three metro stations. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Small annoyance with the cleaners knocking or reception calling about cleaning despite the "Do not disturb" sign on the door. Also room keys stopped working several times during the week but it's an easy fix at the reception. Breakfast was available at extra charge and...

”For the price of the stay, the guest house itself was fine. Walls were thin so earplugs for sleeping were a must, at first I was taken aback that my room didn't have a window, and the building is old, so even before my stay I was fully aware I didn't reserve a luxury room at a fancy hotel. However - what made me leave a 5 star review on all aspects was the hospitality and professionalism of the lovely staff, and everything that came with it.
