This was a good property to base our visit in Amboise. The property was pretty with a beautiful garden. Unfortunately we could not enjoy that enough since it was rainy and a little cold. Staff was excellent, and we got a good but pricey breakfast every morning. The main negative was that the picture of the room was not representative of what we got. It showed a large room with a sofa but our room barely was enough space for us to move around in.

Tout était bien sauf le petit déjeuner qui n’offre pas des produits de qualité. Nous avons pris notre petit déjeuner à 9.00 heures et nous avions le choix entre du pain blanc ou du pain toasté industriel. Les crêpes n’était pas seulement froides, mais elles sortaient tout droit du supermarché alors qu’il est tellement facile d’en faire. Donc la prochaine fois j’irai dans un autre établissement où j espère que le petit déjeuner sera meilleur.

Perfect place to enjoy Loire Valley, bike to Chenonceau, walk to shops/restaurants, and visit Chateau Amboise. Staff exceptionally pleasant, perfect location, accommodations historic and comfortable, highly recommend, cant forget luscious green landscaping space to enjoy morning tea/coffee.

Brilliant little hotel in the centre of Amboise! This place is gorgeous - a traditional French Chateau with beautifully kept grounds and rustic yet elegant rooms. The staff were all welcoming and friendly, and were very kind in being willing to speak English for us non-French speakers. My wife and I had a lovely room with a large, comfortable bed and a surprisingly modern washroom. The location is perfect for tourists, being a 5-10 minute walk to top-tier restaurants and amazing historical cites, including the Chateau d'Amboise and the Clos Luce. I was also a huge fan of the food options here at the hotel - the buffet-style breakfast was excellent, and the dinner here was spectacular in its more traditional French cuisine offerings. Very glad I stayed here!

Our stay was fairly pleasant and the room as adequate but did not look anything like the rooms in the photos. We had very noisy guests overhead for 3 of the 4 nights, which is not the hotel’s fault. Parking was a bit of a nightmare. They have off street parking if you have a tiny car and can make the swing into the gate from a very narrow street. Our vehicle would not make the turn. There were parking lots down the street but they were generally full and it was difficult to find spaces each day.

We got a bedroom on the last floor but there was no heater in the bathroom. We are in December, winter time how can you offer a bedroom with low heat and no heater at all in the bathroom? After complaining to the receptionist, we got a bedroom with a good heater in the bedroom and bathroom, then we were satisfied.

We loved this location in the heart of Amboise. This was a good value for the cost. The outdoor area is very beautiful and you can see the Chateau from the upstairs windows. Very peaceful.

Fine hotel. We were in room in former stable/garage. Ac didn’t work so very stuffy at night. Front desk was dismissive. Well located but many hotels are better located to restaurants and chateau.

Charming hotel in a quaint Loire Valley town

This is a very unique French countryside experience. The property is small, private, and very quaint. The staff is very attentive to anything that you may need or want. We would definitely stay here again.

We liked the staff as when we arrived we were offered a room in a separate annex and which we found quite depressing! The guy on reception, Amboisea, could not have been more helpful and put us in Room 2 (great room!) for our 1st night and Room 1 (good room!) for our 2nd night. Restaurant was excellent..

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location for exploring Amboise and the nearby chateaus in the Loire Valley. Our room was nice, quiet, clean and overlooked the courtyard area. There is on-site parking. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and decided to go with the "chef's choice" for the 5 course meal. We were not disappointed. The meal was excellent! We would definitely stay here again.
