”This was an amazing stay. It’s not a hotel, really. But, it was a 1-bedroom apartment including a room with a king bed, living area with a fold out, laundry with detergent, full kitchen with all amenities that included coffee, tea and sugar. The windows are floor to ceiling overlooking the MBI college campus and city views. The front desk staff are sometimes helpful and friendly, and sometimes not, depending who was working. It’s walkable to grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, etc.

"My daughter and I went to Chicago to run the marathon. Booked The River hotel as it was one of the few hotels I could find with twin beds at a reasonable price located within walking distance to grant park. The room was compact but it was warm, clean, had a microwave oven, mini fridge and espresso machine. Location was absolutely brilliant. Magnificent mile just the other side of the river and plenty of shops, restaurants, bakeries right next to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful, only really had interaction at checking. Highly recommend, I certainly would stay there next time."
