”Hidden Resort Fee not informed before booking. Amenities supposedly from the Resort Fee are less straightforward to materialized. eg. $10 credit for meal was reneged because it wasn’t clear if the waitress was supposed to take it and deduct it from bill. In my case she didn’t. When I checked out the Front Desk refused to re-imburse. The Breakfast included voucher for a fee specified for ala cart, but actually it was for buffet. ”The staff was AMAZING! Definitely eat at The Piper, breakfast was great! Loved the location and the room was very comfortable! The best thing though was how nice and helpful every staff member was anytime we had questions!! Loved the stay it was perfect and we can’t wait to visit Alaska again! Thanks for a wonderful visit!!

”The room smelt like urine and the cleaner used to clean up dog pee stains, at least I hope it was dog pee. The rooms over looked borders homes with piles of garbage. The bathroom had a barn door right next to the bed and you could see a person on the toilet from all of the beds. Terrible hotel, I have stayed in motel 6’s that were better, way overpriced not worth it.”

”I typically book rooms based off of reviews, and this place was rated high. I'm not sure why after our experience. It's a completely no contact check in and out process. We were supposed to be sent instructions prior to arriving, but we were never sent any. We arrived on site and there was no one to talk to. I called the number posted three times. Staff was very accommodating and helpful
But two things I did not care for
So many homeless around the area and the desk guy and shuttle driver just need to wear clean clothes. And look more professional.”
