This was a lovely place to stay, great location so close to town and the coastal trail. It was quiet and peaceful. I also loved all the windows and natural lighting, as well as the many comfortable places to sit around the apartment.

Great location

This apartment has a great view of the Cook Inlet, is across a quiet street from the coastal trail, and is within easy walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops. It has space to relax, both inside and outside on a deck. We enjoyed our stay!

Squeaky clean private windows everywhere overlooking cooks inlet just beautiful. There’s a park right across the street and trails close to town. Had a wonderful time. Highly recommended.

Pre-cruise stay

My travel party needed a place to stay before we started a cruise and this location was great. Pretty much right down town. Has a good view too! Quite space, clean, and all you may need to for a "home away from home" kind of stay.

Great location!

From the moment we walked in we knew we had made the right decision. The accommodations were comfortable, homey and all in a walkable location. We could walk to dinner or take a brisk stroll along the Tony Knowles trail. We would definitely recommend this rental!

Coastal View

The property was close to downtown restaurants, shopping, bike rentals and walking/bike path. The location is convenient for day trips to many attractions in and around Anchorage. The deck was an enjoyable place to sit and relax. The owner was veryresponsive when an appliance went out.

Location perfection

We loved this rental as our home base for our ~week visiting AK for Rondy and Iditarod activities. Fabulous view, warm and cozy in the winter, and so easy to walk up to downtown for dining and festivities without worrying about parking. And free laundry was amazing after a day at Alyeska! I grew up in Anchorage and am looking forward to staying here again in the summertime.

Lovely view

Had a wonderful stay. The property is located in a quiet location in downtown Anchorage with a view over the inlet. The unit was clean, warm and comfortable. Had an issue with the internet and it was addressed immediately by the owner who was readily available. Easy walk to the heart of Anchorage for work and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again when back in Alaska.

My wife and I stayed over in Anchorage for a few days after a cruise. This was the perfect place. Great view of the Cook Inlet from the deck. The restaurants, shops and sights of downtown Anchorage are easy walking distance. The coastal trail and a nice park are literally steps from the front door, and the location is very central for exploring outside of Anchorage.The property itself was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Tony the owner gave us some good references for places to eat, and sights to take in for our short stay. Highly recommend.

This was the second time I have at this property. It is the perfect location for shopping and dining. Fur Rondy and Iditarod festivities are within walking distance. The site has beautiful views of the Cook Inlet and Mt. Susitna with spectacular sunsets. I’ve stayed in 2 different apartments on this property and both were clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies and toiletries. If I come back up for Iditarod, I will definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful sunny property set off to the side of DT Anchorage. The property owner contacted me personally regarding snow removal, and the property manager was super friendly and helpful. The apartment had everything I needed plus. Although I was just 1 person, it can easily accommodate 6. Right off the Coastal Trail. Parking available, easy walk to many great DT restaurants. Clean, well stocked, quiet, and safe. A little pricey but it was basically an entire house I was renting.

Okay experience

The stay was really good. However, the email sent by evolve resulted is us wasting 1 hour of our trip on phone. They sent the correct apt number and details in email contact but attached the other apartment details in the welcome letter by the owner. We ended up in wrong apartment thinking they gave us the wrong apt. We called the owner and he said he doesn't have us at all in any apartment booking. The reason was he kept asking my last name but he had my first name in the booking which he could not pronounce. Also, he said there was someone else in the apartment we booked. We figured this out reading the email again. But not good experience with the communication.

Ideal location for access to downtown!

My husband stayed for a few days of our honeymoon, and did enjoy how close it was to most things downtown! We primarily walked despite the heavy snowfall. We went to Artic Sushi and Snow City Cafe, both incredible. The space is small, but has all the functions you would need to cook, a tv, etc. We enjoyed relaxing in the livingroom but thought maybe an ottoman in front of the couch would help us prop our feet up while watching tv. The one thing we were a little cautious about, is there is NOT a deadbolt to use on the interior door to your unit... and that made us a feel a little unsafe. We also couldnt quite figure out how to lock the doors from the outside when we left, we just open and closed it a few times and it seemed to lock on its own. Maybe adding that detail to the check-in instructions would help. We also had a little trouble finding the right door (thinking it was the upstairs door to the right) but eventually figured it out. Also be aware that snow plows come through late at night - it startled us a little, as we heard them outside the home around 1am. We came from TX, so don't have snow much at all, and weren't too sure how to use the ice melting product left inside the front door since there weren't any instructions for that. Overall the place was nice, and we enjoyed our stay. It's not luxurious but that's okay! Proximity to downtown was our priority.

Excellent location for sunset watching. It is an easy walk to some of Anchorage’s best dining. Bedding was comfortable, and Tony is a great communicator. We would stay there again.
