”Very nice 2nd floor apartment on quiet street close to university, restaurants and grocery. Great hosts went out of their way to make our stay pleasant, including finding toys and crafts for our two year old grandson. Apartment was spacious, two large bedrooms, a living space and a small kitchen.”

”We had a wonderful time in Olympia! Trail House was an excellent choice for us--it was a perfect jumping off place for all the trails we walked and trips to Mount Rainier, Poulsbo/Olympic National Park, and Seattle. The parks and trails around Olympia are amazing, as are the little shops and restaurants. Trail House was clean and well equipped for our needs--including a first aid kit and backpack cooler bag!”

”Our VRBO was double booked. The VRBO app showed my inbox was empty but when I clicked “contact host” to ask the host how we should check in, a message popped up that the listing was double booked. We were already driving there when I saw the message. It was stressful trying to find another place to stay. I don’t understand why the booking wasn’t canceled when the host realized it was double booked. I had the address and everything. VRBO covered our stay at a hotel that weekend but it was very...

”Beautiful houseboat with great view of the capital and water. Super clean and perfectly stocked for a comfortable and accommodating stay! Awesome deck off bedroom w plenty of seating, comfy bed with a/c both upstairs and down. Good food, drinks and fun atmosphere at the restaurant/bar at the marina. Be sure to ask Chris for lock box details at the entry to the dock. Highly recommend!”

”This property was immaculately clean and cozy. It is on a private gravel drive between streets. The instructions for the space were clear and concise. Of note, if you are traveling in anything larger than a Jeep would require backing out down the drive to leave as you will not have enough space to turn around. ”

”The host was fantastic and responsive, the property was wonderful. The living room is nice and big, bathroom and kitchen are great as well as the game room and backyard area. I agree with another review that the beds are a bit firm but I would stay there again!”

”Great house and great location. Quiet and private. There was an issue with an alarm that went off 2 of the 3 nights we were there. First night we couldn’t access breaker and it rang for 2 hours. 2nd night it happened thankfully the property manager had left access to the breaker and we were able to shut it off right away. Other than that house was great and equipped with spices and everything for cooking. Could be a little more organized in terms of drawers and cabinets but really that’s just me...

”Beautiful setting. The provided kayaks were great. We enjoyed paddling out into Carr Inlet and were joined by sea lions, bald eagles and more. I would add a couple more adult life vests as the provided ones were more for a family of 4 with kids, not 4 adults but that's a minor thing. The cabin is great and evenings were great in the hot tub or using the fire pit. A tv in the living room might be a plus, but who needs it with the deck and more. Easy to find. Secluded from traffic, but close...

”It was as advertised. We were 14 people from 3 generations and had a family reunion. It was good home and close to a lot of things we can do as activities. The communication was prompt and responses were quick”

”This place is a gem! Patty was a great host! Everything from the actual home to the relaxing backyard and nature literally at your back door (we saw baby ducks and fawns with their mamas daily). Such a sweet addition to the already wonderful home! Highly recommend!”
