They have a good morning breakfast and while they don't have a fitness center onsite, they provide free access to the well-equipped Durango Rec Center just a mile down the street - if you're looking for weights or some post-hiking light exercises. There's a cool stream nearby. The area is walkable; James recommended Fridas, an excellent Mexican restaurant about 3-4 blocks up the road. Great margaritas and tacos and excellent salsa, an easy walk. The trolley that moves people around town has a stop right here. The wifi is a little slow - but you're in Durango, go outside!”
”Hotel was what I expected. Nothing fancy just the basics. Apparently there are some people living here that sat outside door with his dog. Another just hung out outside his door. Thought that was sketchy and needs to be cleaned up. Swimming pool area is apparently a storage area with no swimming possible ”
