Entering on street level a staircase leads to the first level. The corner position allows the light to stream into the living spaces from windows on three sides. The lounge area is a relaxing place to sit with a book or watch the boats in the harbour and you can enjoy breakfast with a view of the sea from the dining area. With a well-equipped kitchen, you’ll be able to visit the farm shops and local producers to choose ingredients for preparing a home cooked meal or take advantage of the many great restaurants, bistros and cafes as well as fish and chip takeaways.
Both bedrooms are double rooms with ample storage and are calm relaxing spaces, neutrally decorated with coastal touches. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath. On street parking is available.
Pittenweem is one of the East Neuk villages, renowned for a gentle pace of life and quaint charm. May View sits directly across from the harbour so guests will be able to watch the coming and goings of fishing boats as they enter and leave the harbour. You might even catch a glimpse of Sammy, the resident harbour seal or even some dolphins passing by. For the adventurous there is a tidal pool for open water swimming as well miles of unspoilt coastal path to explore.
