”The house is new and modern, with good array of cooking utensils and linens. Floor plan upstairs is odd. The master bedroom is open to the downstairs (loft style), so it lacks privacy. The upstairs bathroom is at the end of the master suite so people sleeping in the other bedroom have to walk through the master bedroom to use the facilities (or go downstairs). The floor plan is best for people who are comfortable sharing sleeping and bathroom spaces. No early check-in. ”

”We enjoyed our stay. Grateful that it wasPet friendly. The picture online is very misleading however. We thought we were at a completely different home. It would be appropriate to post a picture online that is true to the decorations, etc. just saying. The real thing compared to the photo is misleading. But overall, we were happy to sleep there for the one night. ”

”The hobbit house is a very charming home. It’s been beautifully remodeled, and the grounds are perfect for making dinners at home. It is walking distance to everything that you might need in Idyllwild. And most importantly, in my opinion, the property manager/owner was only a phone call away. When we needed anything at all, we could contact him and he responded. This is very important in my opinion. Highly recommend! It’s a great place to stay.”

”Absolutely recommend this quiet scenic oasis! 10/10 Three nights wasn’t enough to enjoy everything this place had to offer. The master suite has breathtaking views to wake up to, the panoramic views from the private deck, the spacious bunk beds, the deep bathtub, the vaulted ceilings, were all so wonderful that leaving is the hardest part. The hot tub is placed perfectly to enjoy the sunset, and the outside bar top is a great place for sunrise coffee.Modern appliances and upgrades, the overhead...

”We enjoyed our stay. We loved the trails and beautiful views on the property. The house is very comfortable. It is located very close to all our favorite wineries and restaurants.”

”The property was huge and big enough for ouir group. We had our company summer outing at this place and the host was super accomodating. The only complaint I have is the Kuerig coffee maker wasn't working but we were able to use the regular one. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.”
