”This stay was the best we had in Scotland. Great location, excellent restaurant, easy to get around to everything in the area, nice hot tub to sooth sore muscles after hikes and Ben Nevis climb. Just a great experience. Very clean from top to bottom and comfortable beds. ”

”Melfort Village is terrific. Beautiful setting and marvellous accommodation. There is a pool, tennis court, putting green, restaurant /bar (great food)and lots of space. The staff are great, enthusiastic and helpful.Walks in the nearby hills or to the lochs. The Village is well placed for access to the magnificent nearby scenery (but do not follow the receptionist recommendation as to how to get to the falls - the road is a nightmare and there is a longer but better way!). ”Wow. What a lovely location! Our family of four stayed here for a night on our way out to the Isle of Skye, and we could not have been more pleased. The home is set in a beautiful glen between mountains. It is near the Glencoe visitor center, where we were able to plan out a local hike. There is a greenway trail you will pass over on the driveway that leads to the home. That greenway is a very nicely improved walking path that passes by farmland and a stream. There are also other nice walks...

”The cottage was beautifully decorated, well equipped, roomy, and comfortable. The host, Frances, very kindly listened to our plans and suggested alternatives that worked out perfectly for us, including a beautiful hike. The location is beautiful and was conveniently near Fort William. ”

”We stayed only two nights. The property is about 30 minutes outside of Oban at the edge of a smaller loch and just outside a small village. The staff was very accommodating and helpful, including when we had an issue (likely self-inflicted) with a washing machine. We would definitely stay again, and make time to stay longer and enjoy more of the area as well as the property’s many amenities. Strongly recommended.”
