”While traveling with our 15 year old son we stayed the weekend in this lovely cottage on the property of Victor an Carina just south of Edinburgh. The hosts are showed wonderful hospitality and the cottage is comfortably set up to sleep three (or four). Great attention to details of all we needed for a comfortable stay including notes for outings in the area and for getting to Edinburgh by bus or train. We definitely want to return to this beautiful cottage with wonderful hosts.”

None measured up and that was only based on the images. The pictures undersold the property, utterly. The Garden House became a serendipitous highlight of our trip to Edinburgh. The location, setting, layout, preparation, standards, provisions were are excellent. The setting within Oxenford Castle...

”End House Inverness was absolutely beautiful. It exceeded our expectations. We forgot it had two bathrooms, so we were so excited to see that it had that. The provisions provided to get us started were very thoughtful and helpful. The house was roomy, clean, beautifully decorated, well stocked. The directions provided for all the amenities were more than sufficient to make correct use of them. We hope to be able to stay here again some day.”

”An excellent property to rent outside of Edinburgh. Perfect for dogs and families. The cottage was warm and well lit when we arrived and the fireplace was already prepped with a basket full of logs. The manager of the property was very friendly and she came over to introduce herself and check we had everything we needed. Strongly recommend and will be going back.”

”The Kist is in a very quiet rural area located down a windy narrow road. If you desire a beautiful two bedroom cottage with a great kitchen this is a great space for you. We spent 2 nights early April when all of the area fields are sprinkled the sheep and their newborn lambs. We explored the acreage the Kist sits on with beautiful views of the fields and hills, listening to the lambs calling for their moms. So peaceful, serene, yet close enough to a few must see sights such as Stirling Castle...

”We had an amazing stay at this charming little Loch side cottage. The views from the doors and windows out to the loch opening are stunning and the sun sets out over the islands and water making every clear night magical. The interior is simple but has all that you need, is comfortable and warm. Kitchen is well equipped for simple meals and there is ample room otherwise. Outside is a simple yard with grass, fully enclosed with fences and gate at the front entrance. It is within 20-30mins of most...

”Really well equipped house with beautiful surroundings. After clear instructions of how to arrive and check in we felt warmly welcomed with fresh flowers and some chocolates from Oban. Plenty of lovely walks nearby, but the house was also a great place to use as a base to explore wider, from a trip to Oban (picking up more chocolates!) to a walk up Ben Cruachan. We’d love to stay again and continue to explore. Huge thanks to Fiona and Andy for being such great hosts!!”
