”Very pleasant experience. Clean modern room and helpful staff. Cosy restaurant with good drinks. Breakfast is freshly prepared according to your choise, a bit heavy though. Rooms are located in a separate building near a big road so we heard a little bit of noise from the traffic.”

”The hotel is nice and clean, the location was perfect as I needed both buses and trains in the area. If I visit Swindon again, I will stay in this hotel. ”

”It was clean and everyone was friendly.”

”Room was ok, outdated but clean otherwise. The bathroom floor tiles and caulking were stained and felt dirty. Shower pressure was amazing, they had dove shampoo, conditioner and soap which was a nice surprise. Breakfast had warm dishes (eggs, bacon, hash brown, beans), coffee, juices, cereals and muffins, croissants and pancakes. I wouldn't stay here longer since the amenities were quite poor but for one night stay (passing through Swindon) this was totally fine and staff that we encountered...

”No chair in room. Light switches impossible to reach from bed. Light bulbs too dim to read by. Carpets torn and not vacuumed. No phone in room. No tissues in room”

”Friendly and welcoming staff, thoughtful touches and a lovely location with great walks and lots to explore”

”Great value for money, clean facilities and friendly staff. Had a good nights sleep.”

”Lovely welcome to this lovely renovated village pub and hotel. Lovely public rooms and our bedroom was cosy, warm and good to be in. Excellent bathroom. Dinner was fine, breakfast was excellent,”

”The room was spotless beautifully furnished. We had endless tea, coffee milk and biscuits. The staff could not have been more helpful nothing was too much trouble The restaurant and bar was clean and very comfortable. The food was fabulous, well prepared. Added to all this you have a very large car park Would recommend this hotel and give it 10/10.”

”Food was ok, sometimes a bit cold, a bit of a limited menu Beer was rubbish, went flat quickly Accomodation was faultless”

”Great pub with fab food. Lovely accommodation block with nice size rooms and facilities. Only down side for us would be beds are very hard, otherwise enjoyed our stay.”

”This rambling old place has a lot of character, and some eccentricities. I have stayed here several times and never had a reason to complain. I am an elderly woman travelling alone and would not keep coming back if my rooms were not clean and very comfortable. The staff are always friendly and most helpful. There is only limited parking but as yet I've had no problem - I understand that there is a public car park nearby, and also roadside parking is not difficult. A glass of wine beside the open...

”Very nice downstairs room, including a very cool ceiling and a cozy wonderful warm atmosphere. The room was smaller than we expected, including the toilet, where it was hard to maneuver between the toilet and the sink. However, we managed just fine and we thought it was very good value for the price. Breakfast was wonderful!”

”Property was nicely decorated and, whilst there is no reception, the instructions to gain access were easy and worked well. The continental breakfast in the room was lovely and well thought through although there was a lack of English Breakfast tea bags which I assume was just because they hadn’t been topped up. There is no parking at the accommodation but lots of parking in the town centre - it’s only a few minutes walk and I would recommend parking first and then walking to the property as...
