”The property was lovely and cosy, with plenty of facilities to use such as towels, kitchen equipment etc...The drive back to the cottage was very welcomed as it's not so busy compared to the other areas of Skye that were very busy with tourist traffic and the views from the area are incredible. Sarah sent very helpful instructions and information regarding the property and answered messages quickly. ”Amazing stay at the Cottage. Great location, comfortable and incredible views. We enjoyed being within 30 minutes of all our activities. Grocery store and shops are close. I would suggest a car for those staying. Highly recommend and would love to visit again. ”

The sun room was a lovely space for relaxing in the evening, watching the changing weather and the peace and tranquility of the location. The showers in both bathrooms were good, powerful showers and the option for a bath in the main bathroom. WiFi worked well at both ends of the cottage and on the lovely sunny days the garden was a good space to enjoy.We also...

”We stayed in the cottage 24 years ago and loved it. It has not changed much. This is the charm of the place. The cottage is situated in a quiet setting on Loch Sunart and after exploring all day was a nice place to relax and unwind. Our host Charlie was great. We had a water issue and it was handled straight away. I hope to return soon. A week was to short.”

”We booked through home and away so was surprised that all communication subsequently came from cottages.com ( who were obviously the property manager) and then discovered that if I had originally booked with them the cottage would have been cheaper- which was annoying . ”We stayed in the farmhouse. It takes you time to travel down the road, but encounters with the highland cows and the views will make your trip an adventure. The B&B and farmhouse are well comfortably furnished, clean and well kept. The management is friendly and offers great advice for walks and day-trips. The food is wholesome and gives comfort after a great hike. You will have your pick on routes for a hike from 2 up to 8 hours. And none are the same, the landscape is spectacular and can...
