”One of the best Scottish full breakfast meals of our holiday. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early. We had room#8 and from the minute I walked in, I started sneezing and my eyes would water up and get congested. Fortunately we weren't in the room much but I barely got any sleep due to tossing and turning. Finally after three of our four nights we had to leave. ”Beautiful room with a lovely view to the Portree harbour. Close to everything (shops, pubs) and convenient location for exploring the area. I have no experience communucating with the staff, but they seemed to be easily reachable if I had needed something. Walls were really thin though, could hear everything from the room next door, but I didn’t mind that. ”

”The room and common areas were very nice here and felt clean. We loved our room and the bed. Great bathroom and shower. The hotel does have a restaurant serving breakfast and dinner but we felt it was expensive. There’s obviously lots of cafes and trinket shops around in Portree. I will warn that there are only stairs here so big bags could be difficult or accessibility concerns. Parking is right in front if you are able to get a spot. ”

”The staff were brilliant although he kept telling us and everyone else he was the only one in running the hotel and the bar. Our room was freezing cold and it felt like the heating had not been on in days, The main external wall was really wet and damp, this would have not been an issue had the heating been used. There were no instructions on how to heat up the room so we used google. Once the room heated up it was fine and no issue, also the following morning the damp had then dried up. ”

”Super nice place! Pretty much in the middle of nowhere (what we wanted) with stunning views when driving through the mountain pass. Brand new cabin with kitchen, livingroom, bedroom and toilet/shower. Got all info via email, how to get there and key lockbox code. Owners super nice!”

”We enjoyed the quiet location and it was an ideal spot for exploring the highlights of the Isle of Skye. The location needs a bigger sign to indicate the driveway. We had to ask some strangers for directions when we were trying to find it. We could also have used a bit more toilet paper and towels. The pillows in the room with the double bed were thin and unsupportive. Apart from this we had a pleasant stay.”
