”The hotel is located at a 10-15 minute walking distance from the centre of Portree. The views from the hotel breakfast room and terrace are amazing! The lobby and bar area are nicely decorated and furnished. Our room was clean, with a comfortable bed and renovated bathroom. Just a few improvements would make this hotel perfect: The breakfast service would be better if started at 7 am, since many customers leave early to continue their trip. Also, the dinner service ended quite early and the menu...

”The rooms were spotless. First night Room 1 - The shower couldnt be used as the thermostat was not working and only scalding hot water was output. I was moved to another room for the 2nd night. First night I was on the 3rd floor and found the steps to my room were too steep for me to negotiate. It was unpleasant. 2nd room I was on 1st Floor. Molly? housekeeping staff was very friendly, and I appreciated her assistance.”

”This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. Ida met us at our car and showed us to our room while loading more fire wood in the pot belly stove in room. It was a lovely site as we walked in! So warm and cosy. The apartment was spacious with a full kitchen. We cooked dinner and Ida had even left us a wee...

”Beautiful room with a lovely view to the Portree harbour. Close to everything (shops, pubs) and convenient location for exploring the area. I have no experience communucating with the staff, but they seemed to be easily reachable if I had needed something. Walls were really thin though, could hear everything from the room next door, but I didn’t mind that. ”
