”My friend and I were looking for a base to explore the historic towns, houses and gardens of this area, and struck lucky with this hotel. We were impressed by the pleasantly relaxed atmosphere, the quality of the food, the variety of dining and bar areas and the comfortable, well-maintained and quiet rooms (no audible traffic noise). Staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended. ”

”De kamer was erg warm en bedompt. Hotel is wat oubollig en mag wel een likje verf hebben. Buitenzijde ziet er niet uit, binnen is het redelijk. Personeel is vriendelijk. Hotel zelf heeft geen eetgelegenheid. Werkt samen met ‘Beef Eater’ naast de deur. Ontbijt was zeer beperkt tot alleen zoetigheid, brood en pannenkoeken, of je moest het typisch Engels ontbijt kiezen. Verder geen kaas of vleeswaren. Personeel zeer vriendelijk, maar zwaar onderbezet. We kregen ons drinken gratis omdat het meer dan...

”Just an overnight stop, but good to find a pet free hotel in the area. For people with serious allergies, these are hard to find. The staff were very attentive from reception to waiter staff who served us in the morning with lovely smiles We both had cooked breakfast..not to be missed..Hold on to that chief”
