”My son has a duck feather allergy. We asked at front reception if we can use some hypoallergenic hollow Fiber pillows to which their reply why house keeping is gone and we don’t know where they store them. My son ended up getting a full on body rash and couldn’t sleep all night. ”

”The suite was perfect really large and it looked like it had just been refurbished. Breakfast however was disappointing. Tea and coffee poor and the hot stuff wasnt very nice, this was strange as the food in the restaurant the day before was ok”

”Note, The Old Alma does not use Hotelsdotcom -platform. I made a reservation and it was not found (and the hotel was fully booked). Nice owners were sorry and explained that this hotel is not available via Hotelsdotcom at all.”

”Room had a wet mouldy smell, didnt get any better with airing out. The hotel is located in a industrial area Bathroom was worn but not the worst. The food at the connected resturant was bland but they had great understanding of gluten free. Overall was okay but wouldnt stay here again, especially at the price point.”

”Nice and cosy inn at a very calm area. We made the booking just minutes before but it was no problem. A warm welcome and delicious dinner. Extra points for using such local ingredients. Also a well equipped bar with a relaxed atmosphere. Room was clean and had all the needed. Maybe a bit worn out and the bed was quite squeeky. However we had a good night sleep. Delicious breakfast with lots of options. Especially great was the possibility for glutenfree breakfast. We would definately stay here...

”Our shepherd hut in Pinewood was spotlessly clean and refreshed every day. Staff were always on hand if needed and really helpful at checkin (the process for checking in and out was seamless). Marshmallows, skewers, logs for the indoor and outdoor wood burners, and upmarket tea bags all complimentary; only let down by basic Nescafé coffee sachets and pots of UHT milk. A small fridge would be useful to allow for proper fresh milk and keeping drinks cool. Beds were comfy and the separated bunk...

”Great treehouse with buggy. Up early to go around the park with the buggy. Loved the clubhouse bar, toasting marshmallows over the fire. We would return, loved the animals, grounds & restaurants too! ”

”Absolutely stunning property for those who like a bit of history. Host was so accommodating to our needs. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and we felt so relaxed making the most of the roll top bath. Breakfast was top drawer (loved the sausages especially). Nothing to fault. We’re already booked in for next year!”
