”One night stay to visit local family. Very welcoming, met on arrival. Coldest night of the year so far and it was warm, cosy & comfortable. Owners live next door, attached house, easy parking, easy to find. Will possibly be return during 2026, central location for all our needs.”

”Room was great, the staff were amazing went above and behond expecially one lady who worked on reception for two of the mornings we was there really wish i knew her name, will 1000% be staying there again, food choise was good and tasted 😋 , breakfast choises were on point ”

”Very warm and friendly welcome by all staff with great service and excellent choice of drinks especially there own Plumb Gin. Yummy. Very relaxed about our slightly late arrival. We loved the Innovative and quirky decor throughout. Bed was so comfy and the complimentary port for a night cap,loved it. So nice that there was no TV. In the bedroom too. Complimentary breakfast delicious and plenty food, hot and cold drinks to start your day. Definitely would really recommend staying here....

”Really good for a basic room, very clean everywhere. Good choice of teas and coffee with plenty of milk and added bonus of hot chocolate and biscuits. Will stay again ”

”Lovely place, comfortable bed, comes with everything you need, fire was ready to use, lovely hosts, heated towel rail, lovely breakfast, amazing area which is very peaceful, would definitely recommend, thank you!”

”Room had a wet mouldy smell, didnt get any better with airing out. The hotel is located in a industrial area Bathroom was worn but not the worst. The food at the connected resturant was bland but they had great understanding of gluten free. Overall was okay but wouldnt stay here again, especially at the price point.”

”Note, The Old Alma does not use Hotelsdotcom -platform. I made a reservation and it was not found (and the hotel was fully booked). Nice owners were sorry and explained that this hotel is not available via Hotelsdotcom at all.”

”Bad wifi and limited facilities. No fridge in the room, gym or anything really other than a square room with dodgy aircon. I would give it a 3 star but the staff were so friendly and helpful that it deserves a 5.”

”We stayied two nights at this hotel The room on the first nigth was 25 C The 2rd night it was 28.5 C So you could not sleep They have a good night garantie Asked at front desk They said to contact the guest relations Contacted them just to find out that first i did not book with them dirrect And that the room temp do not fall under the good night because this hotel does not have airco So what is the point of having a good night garantie ”

”Honestly the staff were amazing from check in to leaving. The room was lovely and clean. The bed was so comfortable best night sleep. Then to top it off the breakfast it was truly amazing. If ever in Deal again i would definitely stay there again. ”
