Perfectly located to explore tenterden on foot. In the morning, we enjoyed a lovely breakfast served in a quaint little courtyard besides the beautiful Japanese garden which added to the serene ambiance . ”We were a party of three adults staying two nights so that we had an easy journey over the weekend to get to the Steam Rally at nearby Woodchurch. Excellent base as views from the room were great, the balcony just right to sit and watch the sunset, and the beds were comfortable.
The only negative comment being the restaurant tables, which had a very sticky feel to them. The waitresses wiped them down thoroughly but it seems this affected the surface of the tables! However the food was excellent...

We asked at reception what time Breakfast was open the following morning for the August Bank Holiday Monday as we needs to set off early. We were told 6.30am so planned around that only to be told next morning at the restaurant it was 7.30am which messed up our travel plans. ”

”Everything about our stay could not be faulted. Friendly reception on arrival. Told all we needed to know straight away and made to feel very welcome. Separate restaurants as we had our dogs with us and we were the only ones in ours but still were treated very attentively. Good varied menu with several specials on offer.
