”We really enjoyed our stay here. Host was excellent: knowledgeable and welcoming. Location was good, secluded enough but easy to get to all areas of the island. Food selection in kitchen was fab and available 24/7, never had that at a b&b before. Room comfortable and internet readily available too. ”

”Very pleased with the accommodation, had never been to winchelsea before but loved where the house was. Proper old building with creaky floors and doors which we loved. The host had left a basket of lovely goodies for us and there was everything we needed. Great garden to sit in too. ”

”We stayed for four nights in June and were delighted with the facilities provided. One king size bedroom, one double bedroom and a small room suitable for a child (we brought our own crib for the baby). Small details like the stair gate and a few toys helped too. The patio furniture was well used as we had glorious weather. Staplecross is well placed for exploring Rye. Hastings, local vineyards and National Trust properties. We would like to return next year!”

”The property is in a lovely holiday park and the surrounding area is great. The property itself is comfortable and fairly well equipped. The problem is that small changes could make it better. The tv is shocking, needs a new cable. I did contact the owner who said he would look in to it but this never happened. One of the mattresses in the twin room needs changing desperately, it completely sags in the middle and is not comfortable. There is also an electricity meter you have to feed £1 coins in...
