”We really enjoyed our stay at Amanda's house. The house is cozy and equipped with everything you need. The beds are comfortable and everything is very clean. The location is perfect. Just a few minutes walk to the beach and also to many local shops, bars and bistros. Newbiggin is the best base to explore many of the area's attractions: Lindisfarne, Newcastle or Yorkshire. Highly Recommended.”

”The property is very nice, nicely furnished and very clean. We did feel that it lacked in terms of things provided, such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, just one USED dishcloth. No welcome pack with instructions, and parking was very confusing. We unpacked the car a the rear of the house, which upset the neighbour. We parked in the nearby public car park for the duration of our stay. We were also disappointed to find out that there was no live TV channels.”

”The location of the property was excellent with a stunning sea view. The house was large and had everything we required. The property was listed as a non smoking residence but the porch and hallway had a distinct smell of cigarette smoke which was very off putting. But overall a very pleasant stay and a bonus was the weather.”

”It was not the best looking area so understand why no pictures of the exterior, it was a quiet area though and very close to amenities.Interior thought was good. The main issue was the floor in the bathroom, the floor is lifting and uneven, we also had a problem getting the shower to work, the “thingy” that you pull up to divert the water from tap to shower was really hard. ”A lovely home, only a few minutes walk to the beach and village centre. We were family of 5 with 2 dogs and there was plenty of room for us all. The house is very well equipped and Susan the owner has really thought of everything needed for a wonderful family holiday!”
