”Unfortunately the power went out around 10 pm and never came back on by the time we left at 7 am. We tried reaching out to staff at the Red Lion, the parent company of the Little Lion. No one picked up the phone nor responded to our message. We had no power, no lights, no water, no A/C. Other than not being able to get a hold of staff our stay was very good.”

”Had requested an early check in ahead of time and were obliged. Also, because our room was in the main Inn Building and I had read there were no refrigerators in those rooms, but one could be requested, we also did so, ahead of arrival, and were onliged. The queen beds in out room were comfortable and we had a large bathroom with a walk in shower.”

”A comfortable, lovely stay in a picturesque part of rural Connecticut. They served a delicious breakfast in a beautifully appointed dining room in the historic main house. A thoroughly delightful experience.”

”The breakfast every morning was wonderful with a great variety to choose from.
The staff couldn’t be any more friendly, accommodating, and welcoming!
The pool looked very inviting, however it was too cool out and or raining. Hopefully next time… there will definitely be a next time!”

”Our stay at The Inn was wonderful. Diane and staff could not have been more welcoming or helpful with great suggestions. Shopping and picnic supplies were spot on! Breakfast was delicious and more than plentiful. The pool was not available at this time, but what a beautiful setting. We’ll stay here again on our next trip to the Berkshires.”
