”Our 5-day stay at the Kimpton Mirador was...fine. The biggest upside was that it allows for dogs of any size, so we weren't restricted by our 70lb dog. Overall, the building is very nice - well kept, lovely staff, nice room, etc. It's in a great location - close to the water as well as to the main street, and a 20ish minute walk from downtown Monterey. Where it lacked was the finer details. You're supposed to get champagne upon arrival, which the people in front of me were offered upon...

”We stayed in the King Cottage, and we loved it! The bed was comfortable, there was a desk, couch, fireplace, closet, and kitchenette. The restroom had a porcelain tub and was as spotless as was the rest of the cottage. The property was beautiful and the landscaping was breathtaking with all the variety of plants, flowers, and fountains. We could smell lavender all day! Management was friendly and helpful, and there were pastries, teas, coffee, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, and cookies out to enjoy...

”The room was so clean and it was so beautiful. We stayed in “ The cottage “ and the view was beautiful. The property clean as well. The location was perfect to walk around and so close to the beach. The breakfast was supper good as well. They had a breakfast special and then three other options if you didn’t want the special. Staff was supper friendly and the property was very safe, quiet, and well maintained.”

”I asked for downstairs' room because I am a handicap and was so hard to go upstairs but they didn’t pay attention and gave me an upstairs’s room.”

”We stayed there two nights during our roadtrip. The hotel was quite nice. We had to be in contact to the hotel beforehand several times, since the reception closes already at 5pm. The rooms were spacious but a bit worn out, our friends bathroom door was stucked, but luckily the staff was still there when it happened. There was an odd moldy odour in the room. Otherwise the location was good, near the ocean and Monterey and the center of Pacific Grove can be easily reached by bus or by car. ”

”Cute, quiet inn. No frills but was clean and pleasant. Great location that was much quieter than the busy parts of Cannery Row, but still very close to the aquarium and other attractions. Would stay there again!”

”Jabberwock Inn was the perfect place to stay in Monterey. It was close to the harbor and nice shops and restaurants. The most amazing thing about the Inn was definitely the staff. Dorothy was so friendly and welcoming, I've probably never met someone so helpful! They have menus of close-by restaurants there and Dorothy made us a reservation from a really good restaurant.
