Comfortable hotel in the middle of Assisi
The hotel seemed to be quite new and our room was spacious, bright and clean. The staff was nice and recommended us restaurants to eat in and places to see. We arrived by car to the hotel and got directions to a car park the hotel has a deal with.

We had room 304 looking out over the valley. Breathtaking view! The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The amenities were outstanding. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and super helpful. This is easily the best hotel of our vacation in Italy! We highly recommend it!

I don’t want to let people know what a fantastic place Hotel Il Palazzo is because that might make it more difficult to make a reservation! Seriously, everything about this hotel was very good, and then some.

I absolutely loved this hotel. It's so clean, modern, and simple. It's close to everything. The staff is nice and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

The Room assigned 302, Problem One: 1st night the room temperature was really cold. I checked the termostat was set to 18C, so I turned to high. The antique warmer switched from hot to extremely hot, I had to move the switch, several time. 2nd night on my return at night, the room temperature was OK, and I noticed it was getting warm air through a regular ac unit! So, they just didn't turn it on the previous night! 2nd Complaint: locked door connected to another room. The first night I complained to the manager ( or owner) about noise ( tv + laud voice)from that room. It was until my 2nd call that they took control of the situation. It was about 11:45 pm. He offered to move me to a "larger room with view" after the first time I called and requested a non connected room, he said the hotel was all booked! I was so tired I just needed rest! No recepcionist after 7pm, until 7am next day. So, I really do not recommend this Hotel. I do not wish to others this experience.

Magnificent!! This beautifully restored palace is an exquisite gem with a breathtaking view of the valley below. We were so thrilled to land here that we stayed n extra day to soak in the beauty of Assisi. It is very close to the basilica and easy distances to so many treasures The hotel staff was very kind and accommodating The room was lovely with all modern conveniences yet not taking away from the history surrounding it

That’s the second time we stay in this hotel and we love it. The location is very convenient and close to st Francis cathedral and on the Main Street. The staff is very helpful and kind.

Il Palazzo is a wonderful small hotel very close to the Basilica. The staff, especially the manager are all professional and helpful. We fell in love with Assisi and hope to return.

Very nice hotel, we loved it. Only a few rooms on each floor. We were in 304 (with 2 beds).Quiet, clean, comfortable, very helpful staff. Excellent communication befirehand. Mike drove with us to show us where the parking was, only a 5 minute walk back. Excellent location, good breakfast and recommendations on dinner spots. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely 1 night stay
Loved our little one night stay in this hotel. Room was clean and spacious, we didn't book one with a view but it didn't really matter as we were out exploring most of the day. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel either but we walked through the restaurant and it looked like a nice continental selection. Parking is not available on site but you can park at one of the car parks dotted around at ¢14 per day, choose one higher up though so you are not walking uphill to the hotel (You are allowed to drive to the hotel to drop off and pick up luggage but not to park overnight) Reception staff were warm and welcoming and the hotel was easy to find and check-in ran smoothly. Lovely location in Assisi and a short walk to most of the landmarks,bars and restaurants. We actually tried to book this hotel again 2 months later on a visit but it was fully booked.

Grosszügiges Zimmer, tolles Bad, ruhig, 5Min zu San Francesco, 10 Min zu Santa Clara. Ausgesprochen freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Gratisparkplätze relativ nahe gelegen, allerdings mit Treppen für den Zugang.

Magnifique hôtel avec de belles chambres spacieuses qui ont de magnifiques vues. Situé sur la principale rue d’Assise. Au cœur de cette ville unique. Seule ombre au tableau: c’est l’accès; mais le personnel nous transmet à l’avance des instructions précises pour aller porter les bagages et ensuite pour stationner l’auto.

Very beautiful and confortable place with an amazing view of the city down the hill. The staff is great specially Julian, he is American, so there was not language barrier. The hotel is close to everything in the historical site. Lots of places to eat around. It was beyond my expectations.
