booking was easy and Hotels.com very helpful in how to upgrade room. We initially booked a standard room at a very good price especially as it included breakfast, However the standard bedrooms have a shower over the bath and so anyone with mobility issues might find this difficult to access. We paid for an upgrade and what a wonderful Superior room it was. Huge with a long bathroom with bath and a double shower and beautifully soft towels...

”We stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Garden Inn as a family to celebrate our daughter’s birthday and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The location was highly convenient, especially as we were visiting Waterworld waterpark right next door – it made the whole trip so easy and enjoyable.

Apartment was very comfortable, beds comfy too with crisp white linen and towels.
Good instructions for entry. Some more information about bins etc would have been good. WiFi was a bit iffy at times but didn’t hugely impact on us. Connection instructions weren’t correct but we worked it out eventually.
Would consider staying again when next visiting Alton Towers. ”
