Booked for a stay at Days Inn Southbound M5. Found out when I parked up that the hotel was on the Northbound. Had to walk over the bridge to the north side - facing oncoming traffic to get to the hotel. Car was left in the southbound car park but I paid the hotel for parking and they assured me the southbound car park would be informed. Just received a £100 fine which i will not be paying. Complained about the fact I booked accommodation on the southbound (not indication that the hotel was northbound) and also complained about being charged £100 for parking. Waiting to hear about both.

"Hotel is fine if you are there for the golf. Hotel is noisy due to the large parties of golfers. On arrival we were told we had been upgraded to a golf side room. This meant we faced the car golf course and not the car park. we thought that would make our room quieter. In reality we were woken early ..."
