”Great vibe, cool little place ! ”

”Very disappointing. This hotel was rated very good an 8.4 but it was far from it. It is very dated and it was dirty and smelled musty. The lamp shades were stained and the lamps were rusty and old. There was mould and dirt all around the window and baseboards. I do NOT recommend this hotel.”

”The room was very nice and quaint. We loved the location. It was so quick and easy to walk to downtown Keene. We had to rent a cot to make it accommodate 3 people. I guess we had missed the fine print in the Expedia listing that said it would work for 3 if a cot was added. The building felt secure and was well taken care of. We’d consider staying here again if we return to the area. ”

”I arrived after dark and the hotel and the village were like a magical New England winter scene with sparkling lights everywhere. The proximity of the hotel to a typical New England church and numerous white painted wooden framed structures was a scene from our historical heritage. The hotel was reopened less than a year ago after extensive renovations. The outcome is a GEM. Decorations deserve an A+.”

”The rrooms were clean, shower was great. Hallways dark, parking lot not to much lighting. There is no breakfast just coffee.”

”The continental breakfast was good - a variety of fresh baked goods, yogurts, fresh fruits, granola, teas, and the coffee was excellent! It would have been nice to enjoy a hot breakfast on the cold and gloomy morning that we were there, though. We enjoyed meeting our friendly host, Joe, and had a nice conversation with him as he explained the history of the property and some future kitchen renovations he has in the works. Parking was no problem - plenty of space, well-lit, felt absloutely...

”The room was clean and warm, the house was filled with charm and the food was delicious. I can’t say enough about the owners who were both extremely kind, thoughtful and wonderful to get to know.”

”AC/heater very loud. Difficulty sleeping. An easy chair would have been nice.”

”What a warm and welcoming place to stay. Beds and pillows were super comfortable, very clean room. Common areas were cozy and clean. You will never find a better breakfast than the 3 course meal we had. Local yogurt, homemade lemon curd, with homemade granola and berries. Then wonderfully cooked frittata with Crème fraîche, local sourdough toast, and a bed of nice greens and radishes. Then the most amazing citrus olive oil cake. There is coffee, tea and homemade cookies always available....

”This place probably has the worst quality/price rating ever. Rooms are small, worn out and dirty. Bed was very worn out with a very poor mattress. Only entertainment in the room was the Holy Bible that was left laying on the table. There were even no glasses on the room (are we supposed to drink straight from the tap?). When we arrived to the place, we were directed to a room that was not cleaned. When going back to the reception, they appologized and gave us another room. When we asked for...

”Way overpriced . I’ve stayed in other hotels in the area that included breakfast with hot tubs that are 50% less than this place. The place to put your shoes in the room had mud all over it. Maybe clean it before your next guest. ”

”Only issue is there was nowhere to hang anything and the room was very small. Room was clean, comfortable and bathroom was well-appointed. Breakfast was good and staff friendly and helpful. Close to restaurants and super easy access to Mt. Snow. Would definitely stay here again. ”

”Clean room, polite staff,kids enjoyed the indoor heated pool they also have a small gym and breakfast in the morning couldn't beat the price definitely a great place for the family dogs are also welcome!!”

”The house was nice and the fireplace was lit up when we got home in the evening - so cozy. The area around the pool is fantastic. The pool, air hockey table, pool table, a bar, and outdoor cooking area, it really has something for everyone. ”
