I was disappointed for my fourth time back to Harrah’s. Getting from the parking garage to the hotel registration on street level, you pass groups of sketchy individuals smoking weed and cigarettes, staring at you, and seemingly having no business being on resort property. So not only does it smell gross, but it feels unsafe and eerie. Doors, windows, and floors of transitory spaces, especially the parking garage and main resort entrance, were filthy, and covered in smudges, fingerprints, and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in over a week. Check-in process was smooth and we had no issues. Upon arrival to the room everything appeared to be clean and well kept. We lowered the A/C instantly to a comfortable setting for us (68° from 73°) and went off to dinner. La strada was excellent and there were zero complaints. After several hours we returned to the room and the room temperature had moved but one degree lower. We turned it to 66° to sleep and to increase the cooling but even after 16 hours there the temperature never dropped below 68°, another disappointment. Unfortunately it seems like harrah’s has become a lower-class budget casino resort compared to others, and I won’t be back unless Caesar’s comps me a room to change my mind.
