”The Tarbet is a fine old building but has started to deteriorate, the room I requested was a Loch view but could barely see the loch for trees. I realise it had been raining but no excuse for the outside walls to be wet! The staff are pleasant and helpful and meals not bad with a good breakfast, just needs updating. ”

”The hotel was fantastic. View was amazing staff were friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and we had great walking paths all the way to the next town. I would say the only downside is there was no dedicated parking for hotel guests so when the park is busy you may not have parking for your car. The other downside is that the motor sports on the Loch are quite noisy and continue into the night hours.”

”The location is great with walk way along the river and it is closer to most shops for those that fancy home made food. Lots of parking space and it is secure. Notwithstanding, the Wifi was rubbish. ”A cosy and nice hotel. Service and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was quite what you would expect, although points to the hotel for having also something else than english breakfast. Weakest coffee we had the entire trip though. The room was great, however the matress was 20cm smaller than should be on the bed. It was also smaller than in the pictures and wasn’t that comfortable. ”
