”Nice and accommodating hotel.”

”Room, pub and staff were lovely. However, if you're looking to get a good nights rest avoid the tower. Its a pub so loud music and open till late, walls and floors paper thin so you can hear conversations going on downstairs, music thumbping till midnight and then the person tidying up was pushing the chairs along the wooden flooring which created a loud screeching noise”

”Staff was great.. hotel was peaceful.. grounds were stunning.. only one issue was with our door in room 6 reported that hinge was broken and door wouldn't close without lifting it. reported Sunday left Tuesday...We were in room and realised that door wouldn't close on self closure. Must say wouldn't stop me returning to this hotel, would recommend ”

”Room we had was getting a bit tired Drawer units were showing signs of wear on the edges. Both chairs were threadbare on arms and along the top of the back. Bathroom sink had 6 inch curved crack in it Room number 69”

Only thing was we couldn’t find instructions for the cooker and to put the hot water on but we nipped over to reception and they were helpful (with the hot water and we worked out the cooker!!). Fabulous stay and would love to come back!”

The owners are wonderful people who prepared a 5-star breakfast for our family and complemented it with friendly conversation.
