”All felt very dated. Walls and floors all paper thin, could hear everything from folks waking at 6am, with the addition of construction work right outside the window at 7:30am. Rooms, whilst clean, were basic and tired, and far too warm with no ability to adjust temperature. Pay and display parking (with no guest discount) is a bit odd too.
Not sure what grants this a 4*, but it certainly isn’t. Get what you pay for.

”Hotel was nice and staff were friendly. The spa was closed (main reason for booking) and only found out during check in, however we able to use the spa facilities at their neighbor hotel at The Celtic Manor Resort, which is a gorgeous resort and we got to use the facilities on check in day and after check out too! Was a nice weekend overall.”
