”Place was under renovation. First floor totally gutted and littered with construction debris. Had to walk through there to get to elevator. Stayed on third floor which was new and nice. Felt unsafe as one door on the floor being renovated was propped open. We were not informed of any of this at the time of reservation and no discount was offered. ”

”Easy yo find and literally within a mile of the gate of Biltmore Estate. The hotel was clean and nice and staff very friendly. Decent choice of breakfast items. Room was clean and comfortable. iticky items were towels were a bit stiff, not as soft as expected, and TP was an inferior quality expected at this price point. All in all a very good choice for a quiet and comfortable stay!”

”We absolutely loved Zelda Dearest. This place has quickly become our go-to when we’re in Asheville — the 1920s vibe, the atmosphere, the staff — all of it just works. Breakfast was fantastic and the perfect way to start the morning before heading out to explore downtown. The location is great too, easy walking distance to everything. If you haven’t stayed here yet, you’re missing out. We’ll definitely be back.”

”Very clean room. Suite was spacious for our family of 6. Had everything we needed for the night. Pool was fun. Breakfast was ok. Check in went smoothly. Ample parking and great location. Plenty to do in the area and many dinner options. ”

”This hotel was very nice. Lots of things to do near by as well as inside the hotel. The only reason it not getting 5 stars is because the AC unit would not cool the room below 70. ”

”Rooms are spacious, wonderfully appointed with soft robes and good coffee. Very comfortable beds. The location is perfect, close to shops, spas, breweries, restaurants. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again. ”

”Nice location. Heaven forbid you expect to have coffee available first thing in the morning. Breakfast was without any "gravy" for the biscuits. Breakfast begins at 6:30, but apparently they don't care about the coffee being available until closer to 7:00 AM. Front desk host in the AM cares more about his phone and texting than he does about the paying guests. Having TV on an entirely Spanish speaking channel helped me recall my Spanish classes from 40 years ago, This hotel was a bit out...

”The mattress was a little soft for me to sleep. The heat and air conditioner were bad that I had hard time to adjust. ”

”Breakfast was sonething different each morning. Fresh fruit, meat, frittata, coffee, juice were all excellent. Room was veey comfortable and we appreciate the upgrade where we had our own porch.”

”The staff was amazing - friendly and ready to help. Enjoyed the food and the bar. Only amenity I wish was available was an indoor pool which is hard to find in the area. Honestly, great stay and would absolutely go back!”
