”This hotel is a lovely oasis of calm in the city of Ponta Delgada! It’s stylish and modern and the pool is a welcome destination after a day out adventuring. Breakfast was delicious; I cannot recommend the restaurant for dinner as it is closed Monday and Tuesday nights (the two nights of our stay). There was some construction going on that was a bit noisy during the daytime hours (renovations of a nearby property) and the beds were too firm for my taste. ”Bela and Dave were exceptional hosts. They went above and beyond to make me comfortable. Dave made me omelets in the morning. Bela took me to a beautiful vista and tea factory on a rainy morning. It was magical to spend time with warm tea in a day like that and she offered to do this herself. The building is brand new, every detail is thought of. Its walkable to citi center and safe and quiet. I highly recommend it and will be back. ”

”This was our first hotel on our Saõ Miguel trip and I can tell you that there aren’t many places like this! The whole property was very well maintained and room was stunning! The breakfast was one the best I’ve ever had with many local products and we just adored the whole colorful interior and the breathtaking garden. But what really made our stay unforgettable was Miriam and the whole staff who were the most friendliest and sweetest people ❤️ We will be back! ”

”We stayed at Moinho da Areia for three days and really enjoyed it. The location is right by the beach, so you fall asleep to the sound of the waves. The bed was very comfortable, the room felt warm and inviting, and Cristina took great care of everything. It’s also a good base for exploring the island. We hope to return in the future.”

”Our room was wonderful, the shared space was absolutely beautiful and the view breathtaking. The place is about a 15 minute walk from the downtown area. There are cafes, restaurants and grocery nearby. I would definitely go back.”

”We had a great stay at Quinta do Espirito Santo. We hosts are fantastique and full of insight. This is not a traditional hotel, but you get to stay at a fantastique old house with great history and athmosphere. The premises have cats, chickens, ducks and dogs. Would recommend a stay here if you want something out of the ordinary. ”
