”This is a big international hotel as it is part of Marriot -chain, so nothing local flavour in this hotel if you are looking for it. Many good restaurants nearby and reasonable drive time to the airport. They have also a shuttle service to the beach where the hotel has some 20 sunbeds with shower and wifi. The water at the pool was very cold every day which was quite surprising. Was not that nice.”

”We had a fabulous 7 night stay in a deluxe pool villa, we loved it , it was clean ,spacious & a very comfy bed. Having a private pool was so luxurious to be able to cool off whenever we felt hot & the sun loungers were a bonus to relax on. All of the staff are so friendly & welcoming. The breakfast was delicious & freshly cooked to order . Also the Spa massages were brilliant , the best we have had in Bali ever ! Highly recommend Sun Island & cant wait to stay again.”

”We stayed at Bali ginger suites for four nights. Rooms are clean and spacious and the outdoor living-area is very nice. Hotel has a small pool in the middle of all rooms. The pool is adequate for refreshing dips, but access can be a problem for some as there are no ladders out of the pool and the steps are quite steep. Hotel staff are all superb.
