”This is a big international hotel as it is part of Marriot -chain, so nothing local flavour in this hotel if you are looking for it. Many good restaurants nearby and reasonable drive time to the airport. They have also a shuttle service to the beach where the hotel has some 20 sunbeds with shower and wifi.
The water at the pool was very cold every day which was quite surprising. Was not that nice.”
”A brand new hotel, feeling fresh and vibrant, with a colour scheme to match. Lovely atria with plants and even a bird making a nest! Rooms are huge, with decent sized bathrooms and the beds are comfortable. The rooftop pool is very refreshing and the bar is a cozy place. The breakfast is part buffet and part ala carte, with more than enough options and the food is delicious. I would be happy to stay again.”

”Wir hatten eine 3 Schlafzimmer Villa und sie war wirklich beeindruckend. Alles sah genauso aus, wie auf dem Fotos auf der Homepage. Das Wasser im privaten Pool war schön angenehm temperiert, nicht so kalt wie in anderen Villen auf Bali. Wir waren mit unseren 3 Kindern da und wurde ab Beginn umsorgt und es gab nichts auszusetzen. Trotz offener Baumweise gab es keine kleinen Kriechtieren und fast keine Mücken. Die Zimmer wurden 2 mal am Tag gemacht und auch für einen Moskitofreien Schlaf...
”We had a fabulous 7 night stay in a deluxe pool villa, we loved it , it was clean ,spacious & a very comfy bed.
Having a private pool was so luxurious to be able to cool off whenever we felt hot & the sun loungers were a bonus to relax on. All of the staff are so friendly & welcoming. The breakfast was delicious & freshly cooked to order . Also the Spa massages were brilliant , the best we have had in Bali ever ! Highly recommend Sun Island & cant wait to stay again.”
”We really liked the hotel. Even the standard room was very nice. Local items were nicely in display both in rooms and in public areas. Even the smallest details have been thought of. The hotel has direct access to the beach and it does not take long to reach the restaurants and shops of Seminyak with a cab or a shuttle. Would definitely recommend this hotel.”

”This was my fourth stay, possibly more, i keep coming back as it is safe, clean, very good value for money, staff are super friendly, the villas are perfect for my needs, private, own pool, very clean and well maintained. The gardens and pool is attended to daily. Everything is just perfect. Location is excellent, strip of restaurants, bars and shops nearby but not so close that you can hear them. ”
”We stayed at Bali ginger suites for four nights. Rooms are clean and spacious and the outdoor living-area is very nice. Hotel has a small pool in the middle of all rooms. The pool is adequate for refreshing dips, but access can be a problem for some as there are no ladders out of the pool and the steps are quite steep.
Hotel staff are all superb. They really made us feel like home and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as nice as possible.
