”Everything about our stay was perfect, food was excellent and use of the spa is well worth it. We were upgraded without requesting it (never ever asked before) the room was stunning. The only downside was that we were directly above the kitchen, and there was constant banging coming from the kitchen. When i asked, apparently it was the water pipes when the dishwasher was in use. Didn't really affect us, as we were hardly in our room, but i could imagine you wanted a relaxing time in your room...

”A beautiful shiny new hotel with well thought through design and such aesthetic decor. The staff were helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant stay. The roof top bar was a definite plus, with fab views, it just made the weekend for me and my friend who had a long overdue catch up. So close to the station, an easy weekend away.”

”Great stay in a lovely hotel. The owner was charming, friendly and fun and gave an excellent display of first class customer service. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We left too early for breakfast so they made up packed breakfasts for us too. Some of the alcoholic drinks in the mini bar are free too! Bed was comfortable and the facilities were clean, tidy, modern and well kept. Parking right outside too.”

”Spent one night at the hotel. It is located in a cute small town. There is a good car park and the hotelarea is beautiful. The room was OK size, but could use an update. The pub was nice and the breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful :)”

”The Bell is a beautiful old building and our room was very tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. The view from the room was amazing. Access was through a separate door to the pub, so we didn't have to be back before the pub closed and could access the room any time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakasts were delicious and lots of choice on the menu. Lovely pub dog too! We would definitely stay here again.”

”The hotel was beautiful and historical, the service was super friendly and the food was great! The spacious room was decorated in very nice and modern style, but... The carpet was dusty (or at least not cleaned/vacuum cleaned) since the previous customer, nor was it cleaned between our 2 nights stay. What was much worse; in the room there was a stark moldy smell that did not go off even as we kept the windows from both sides of the room open for 2 full days & nights. ”Arriving in the charming village and then pulling up to Buckland Manor was a dream! Every detail has been seen to with lovely staff, well furnished rooms, gorgeous peaceful grounds. We could pop on many walking paths right from the door and roam the countryside. One wouldn't need to leave this property for days with every need met beautifully. Exquisite!”

”Out of town location. Property needs a makeover. Carpets overdue for clean or replacement. Room otherwise clean but not serviced daily. Reception staff polite and helpful but don't present a confidence in their product. Overall impression was shabby. Breakfast by 830am was limted to remains of much earlier cooked food. Had to bring attention to staff the mould on bread for toast.”
