Makuuhuone 2: vetoketjulla ja linkillä erilliset vuoteet (voidaan super king-size-vuode pyynnöstä) ja TV.
Suihkuhuone: jossa suihkukaappi ja wc .. Öljyinen keskuslämmitys, sähkö, liinavaatteet, pyyhkeet ja Wi-Fi mukana. Tervetuloa pakkaus. . Sorattu oleskelutila, jossa puutarhakalusteet. Yksityinen pysäköinti 2 autolle. Tupakointi kielletty. Huomaa: ei alle 5-vuotiaita lapsia .. Rauhallisessa ympäristössä tämä omakotitalo, omistajien kodin vieressä, sijaitsee 550 metrin päässä kylän keskustasta. Kaupat ovat supermarket, pubi ja ravintola, takeaway, uima-allas ja leikkipuisto 550 metrin päässä, joten se on ihanteellinen loma tukikohta ja ylpeilevä kauniit näkymät vuorille muualla. Alue on tunnettu ulkoiluharrastuksista, henkeäsalpaavista maisemista ja runsasta villieläimiä. Sekä Glencoe Mountain Resort että Fort William, joka tunnetaan nimellä 'Ison-Britannian ulkona pääkaupunki', ovat vain lyhyen ajomatkan päässä. Läheisiin aktiviteetteihin kuuluvat maastopyöräily, kiipeily, hiihto, lumilautailu, melonta, kävely, golf ja kalastus. Matka Länsiylänmaan höyryjunalla (kuten Harry Potter -elokuvassa esitetään) Mallaigiin, ylittämällä kuuluisan Glenfinnan-viaduktin, tai käymällä joillakin koskemattomista rannoista, linnoista, museoista ja tislaamoista. Veneretket sisäsaarille, mukaan lukien Mull ja Iona, ovat helposti saavutettavissa tai vievät päivän tutkimalla Ardnamurchanin niemimaa. Owner and housekeeper very helpful. Heating is one extreme to the other, either freezing or roasting. Location is really good and central especially if wanting to climb the hills down the glen and around glencoe. House well equipped.

Lovely cottage in excellent condition. Fully furnished with everything that you could need. Generous welcome back provided. Wonderful views of the mountains from the lounge area. The property backs onto natural woodland. Within walking distance of local facilities and excellent pub restaurant. Access to the property from the village is good but up a steep incline which could prove difficult for anyone with walking difficulties. Thankfully access by car is good with easy walking from the parking area. Ballachulish is located in a beautiful area at the bottom of Glen Coe with lots of walks to suit all abilities and has good transport links to other areas an ferries.

Ballaculish als Teil unseres Urlaubs in Schottland

Unser Urlaub in den schottischen Highlands besteht aus mehreren Orten und Unterkünften. Die Westhighlands waren unser erstes Ziel. Aufgrund der Nähe zu einigen Drehorten von Harry Potter haben wir uns für das Pine Marten Cottage entschieden und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Das Haus bietet viel Komfort und genügend Platz für 4 Personen. Vorab haben wir alle Infos zur Anreise und zum Zugang zum Haus bekommen. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und doch erreicht man das Zentrum von Ballaculish sehr schnell. Wir haben uns sehr über das Willkommenspaket gefreut. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich. Wir können das Pine Marten Cottage sehr empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

The owners were very helpful and friendly but not in the least bit obtrusive. We caught plenty of fish and had a great time. Perfect location for walking as well. The location was perfect though it was a shame that some things nearby were closed. However, we were just glad that we could go on holiday. It had been touch and go. Absolutely loved our stay at Pine Marten cottage.

Absolutely loved our stay at Pine Marten cottage. The owners provided the best welcome pack we’ve ever had on arrival, even a bottle of wine! The location is great, lots of walks nearby and Dale can give you advice about where to go. There’s a decent Co-op in the village with a post office, an information centre/cafe, a couple of restaurants and a fish and chip shop. Glencoe village is within walking distance with a great cafe and the Glencoe Gathering does very good food. We also walked to the NTS visitor centre in Glencoe (just under 3 miles each way), but to venture much further into Glencoe you need wheels as I wouldn’t recommend walking beyond the visitor centre alongside the A82. The cottage had everything we could have needed. A very well supplied kitchen, including a freezer (very handy for stocking up on goodies from Marks & Spencer in Fort William). Lots of storage in the bedrooms, and as there was only two of us we had a wardrobe and six big drawers each! I always look for a property with a super-king size bed, and this one was so comfortable, got to be one of the best we’ve had in a holiday home. Lovely bathroom, and an additional downstairs loo was a bonus. And the heating - superb! Lovely and cosy and warm to come back to, especially on a rainy day. Luckily we only had two of those. We’ve stayed in several properties around Fort William, Glen Nevis and Glencoe, this was our first time in Ballachulish and we will be back next year for sure. P.s Excellent WiFi, thankfully as no phone signal from my provider inside the cottage. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Excellent well appointed cottage in a superb location. Welcome pack and stock of condiments very much appreciated. Location ideal for exploring Glencoe, Fort William and the surrounding area, owners very helpful for walks / directions etc. Very good pubs / restaurants in the area (Laroch, Clachaig inn) - overall highly recommended.

Lovely owners, who really care about the comfort of their holiday makers.

Lovely owners, who really care about the comfort of their holiday makers. The cottage is fully equipped with everything a family or group could wish for. Quietly situated on an elevated sylvan setting with stunning views from the front of the hill ‘opposite’. A pine marten visited during the day, video taken & to be sent to owner, also a deer. Highly recommended.

Pine Marten cottage was perfect.

Pine Marten cottage was perfect. It's in a great location, peaceful and stunning views. It has all the amenities you need and bed was very comfy. It was very clean. The owners Dale and Julia were both very friendly and most welcoming and the welcome pack was brill. We were lucky and saw the pine martin and had a nightly visit from a badger. Lovely walks just on your doorstep. We would highly recommend the cottage and would definitely return.

A lovely well equipped cottage. So clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful owner and although cottage is next to their home there is no intrusion at all. Beautiful area with lots to see and do. We will return.

Had an amazing week spent here. The cottage is lovely. Great location, well equipped and very clean. The owners, Dale & Julia live next door and are on hand should you need them at all. They are in no way intrusive. A really nice couple. We will return to Pine Marten Cottage.
