Birthday Scottish paradise
We had a wonderful four days in this northern Scotland paradise. Everything from the location,communication with the owner and everything at the cottage was amazing. We were able to visit the surrounding areas and spent a birthday at the location. We are extremely satisfied and hope to return soon. A amazing experience.

Relaxing countryside escape
Glenarder is a gem of a place! My family has been staying in Edinburgh for the past few days after arriving from Texas. Our beautiful drive through the Highlands and stay in Glenarder was so relaxing with an extraordinary view from every window in the cottage. Yvonne is a superb host and made our stay everything we had hoped for! Her amazing interior design details made every room an experience. We absolutely loved it and hope to return in the future. Peace and Quiet
Being surrounded by beautiful pastoral scenery at the end of days full of sightseeing, was a once in a lifetime experience. Best sleep we could ever have, and every window provided a vista that was a feast for our eyes. Traveling far off a main road was worth the experience, and we could totally understand how the owners consider Glenarden their retreat. Every detail to makes guests comfortable was attended to, and nothing needs to be changed.

An amazing cottage with extremely helpful owner.
Six of us stayed at the cottage for the weekend and we were all extremely impressed with the cottage and the lovely location. Everything was perfect and Yvonne was extremely helpful pre and during our stay. I would certainly recommend this cottage for anyone who is looking for cosy weekend in Scotland or for someone who is exploring the whiskey trail. Thank you Yvonne.

A delightful cottage in the heart of Speyside. A perfect base to tour the distilleries.
The Mandel family have thought of everything and are most attentive to their visitors needs. Everything was ready for us and full instructions were provided to make certain that we could enjoy an extremely pleasant stay. The photos displayed on the website provide suitable representations of the accommodation; it's sophisticated ambiance and thoroughly modern conveniences. All of this is wrapped in an authentic stone farmhouse surrounded by pasture and herds of grazing sheep. Unlike some vacation rentals that seem empty when you arrive, Glenarder makes you feel at home immediately. A full range of cooking utensils and spices are available so that cooking is a pleasure and marketing is limited to the basic perishable food items. It was most enjoyable to return each day from our touring to prepare a light meal and settle down next to the fire to enjoy our drams. Our only problem was that we had too few days on this trip to enjoy Glenarder. We are trying hard to find another reason to come back at some future date soon.

Lovely and peacefull holiday cottage in Speyside hills
We loved our time in the Speyside Hills and enjoyed the comfortable Glenarder Cottage. Stylish decorated and with all facilities and stunning views! The dears, grouse and kettle in the fields around us made us feel really living in the countryside. Excellent location to visit all the whisky distilleries in the Speyside Region.

Cottage with lots of privacy.
Great property in a beautiful setting. Definitely recommend it. Only drawback was distance to grocery store and restaurant. Easily overcome by pre planning.

Fantastic Getaway
