”Tombeck was nice, roomy, comfortable. Had a large kitchen fully stocked with cookware, oven, stove, kettle, microwave. We liked the large wooden dining table. A great place from which to explore Tomintoul and the Cairngorms. Also has a washing machine and dryer, but no instructions so took some time to figure them out (and the washing machine makes a loud noise and really shakes while running).”

”We had a lovely time in the lodge. It was clean and lovely and warm and the member of staff we delt with, (Linda), went the extra mile to make sure we were ok and happy. An excellent location and fantastic walks around the lock.We look forward to returning soon.”

”Very relaxing stay! It was nice having two bathrooms, too. Note that they are both upstairs in the cottage. Not a problem for us, though. Place was cozy and comfortable. The pub next door closes early so patrons and any noise coming from there ceases early. Bed was comfy, too. ”
