”Great location for us but sandwiched between fast road and railway line. Car parking safe if a tight squeeze.Overall clean but unidentifiable smell in lounge and air lock in shower - maybe first rental this year?Minimal contact before arrival but helpful hosts once thereBedroom the plus, king-size bed, good bed linen. An accessible plug near one of the bedside tables would have been a plus plus a coffee table in loungeEasy road access there and train access into city centre.”

It is in an ideal setting - a quiet peaceful village, close to quaint villages and larger centres for sight-seeing and amenities. The Oak Tree Inn

The Oak Tree Inn

10/10 Loistava
"The Oak Tree Inn was without a doubt our favourite place on the whole West Highland Way. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a modern, newly renovated bathroom. We also enjoyed an excellent dinner, a great selection of drinks in the evening, and one of the best breakfasts we had on the trail. If you're walking the WHW, we wouldn't miss this place for anything. Highly recommended and a highlight of the entire journey."
