”It was a clean room, they had suggestions on what to do, it was easy check in and was able to self check in with key pad. $3-$10 ubers to get around to old san juan and more locally. Walmart 7 min away if you need anything. Had roku tv, min fridge, makeup wipes!, shampoo/conditioner/body wash. ”

”This place is fantastic! To start it’s just simply beautiful, the details are fantastic. Everything is brand new and beautifully clean and organized. The landscape is lovely. The pool in the back is glorious and the staff are fantastic. Awesome location too! Highly recommend!”

”Location was great, close to the beach. Breakfast had everything from kinds of foods to the staff which would accommodate any request. My final measuring stick was a constantly filled bowl of freshly-cut strawberries. ”

”Stayed for 5 days and 4 nights for my boyfriend's birthday. The room was very clean. The staff was so nice! The amenities were amazing! We did have a small issue getting towels for pool but a staff member was very helpful with that. We were very close to everything, maybe 8 minutes from the beach. We rode scooters from the hotel to get there. The shuttle was very helpful as well and helped us save money. I would definitely recommend but please be aware of the $30 a day fee.”

It was like an interior room in the middle of the hotel building and hence couldn’t have a window, but still it would have been good to see that info in the room description when booking the room. :-) In addition, we got a connected room - I usually write a special request ’no connecting room’ but this time I forgot it - and the doors between the rooms let sound...

It was my first time in a guest house and was the best experience,after a cancelled flight I stayed there for 3 nights and she helped me with everything I would recommend Hugo's for everyone who wants to stay in old San Juan thanks again Mari I will be back.”
