Good place to rest after had a long week work. Im staying for 2days 1 night, love to upgrading bedroom to seaview. Really relaxing. Enjoying Ramadhan buffet with family. Buffet a bit dissapoint bcause not many choice. For the bedroom not clean very well. So many dust on the table and floor (got cockroach eggs too) its very dangerous for those have a baby. Your staff have to check cleanliness before guest check in. And also no wifi coverage. Pls upgrade your hotel more better.

Friendly and helpful front desk staff. The breakfast was awful. I think the management needs to seriously improve in this area.... Housekeeping needs to improve..., Just some leftover rubbish in the balcony Otherwise it was ok.

Overall it is was good but the hotel house keeping should improve their efficiency. e.g. They forgot to provide towel until we request. Secondly, we went in the room but the room was not ready. It was the miscommunication between the house keeping and front desk. And, the breakfast is really not so good. We hope hotel will improve it.

VERY BAD experience. 1. Came to check in with a congested lobby. Families with elderly, children and pregnant ladies unattended for 5HOURS, given no explanation or whatsover. All of the receptionist went missing and we were all left in a mystery. At this unprecedented time, the management definitely paid NO REGARDS to the SOP! 2. NO PROPER details of the actual waiting time and rooms available left people mad and bewildered! Children are now crying all over the place. People are screaming all over the place, restless. 3. After 5 HOURS, we learnt that NO QUARRELS, NO ROOM. 4. The rooms were all left uncleaned and that resulted in the delay. It makes no sense to have us wait 5 hours JUST TO CLEAN YOUR ROOMS that we have paid earlier! If you have no Manpower then, outsource. Communicate and explain nicely to customers. 5. Guess what, we had to check out at 12pm, despite checking in 5 hours later. Very unpleasant indeed. No refunds or any compensations made. The room itself is good. The view from room is beautiful but we are mad with the management services. Despite the check in, the extra towel we request for have stain on one out of three. The slippers in the room is lacking of one for twin room. The breakfast choice is limited.

The hotel was nice and pretty. The rooms was cozy. Except that one of the rooms I booked didn't have a cooling air conditioning. It was just blowing air. One huge disappointment was breakfast. I booked rooms with breakfast, but me and my family couldn't have any. I understand it was a peak period, Chinese New Year holiday, but what I do not understand was that the hotel did not prepare itself to handle the high influx of guests staying in the hotel. There were not enough tables, the utensils were no where to be seen, and to top it of, empty buffet sets. And this was when I came down from my room at 8am (breakfast was served at 7-11 am). My family and I had to go out of the hotel to get breakfast elsewhere. But I do wanna give compliments when it's due. I'm grateful to the front office manager for being very accommodating, and polite, to all my requests during my stay.

Nice room, near beach. The stay was pleasant one. But this location is isolated by itself, a distant away from the main Desaru attraction. If you want to get away from city life and crowd, this place is recommended.

Poor hotel no have electricity when heavy rainy electric break down and hotel management need all guest move to new hotel is 0 star hotel. Give us twin bed room but we booked king bed room we need top up money to king bed.bad breakfast no have foods to choose all Finnish no top up foods we only drink water and only 1 waiter to clean table.Poor WiFi all days no working. waste my 3day2night trip.this hotel is Poor poor poor. No have next times again.

Location of property is good- very close to the beach and view from rooftop is breathtaking. Staff is also friendly and helpful. The room aircon switches off automatically every time you open the balcony door and this is very annoying! The beach was not clean when we were there.

If you want time to relax and have your own time check in here at amerald Hotel. The front desk automatically upgrade our room to ocean View the view was so nice next to the beach. Very accommodating he always smile.. Room was big we choose twin bed for mine and my husband.. The coffee on the side is good.. Swimming is good.. Buffet breakfast is very good local food I like the rendang chicken over all stay good except the shuttle I bit pricey going to the bus terminal.. Will come back again here bring my whole family

服务不错,整体满意
服务员的整体是不错的,只是碰巧遇到烟霾的天气。只有用餐的地板肮脏,还有地理位置有点里面,晚上告示牌不多,如果有更多的路牌会更好。整体的酒店是蛮不错的,住到很舒服,酒店也很大,房间和厕所很舒适,泳池也不错,好评,早餐值得推荐!

Unfit for tourists and unfit for mobility impaired. The entire hotel has steps everywhere rendering it totally unfit for those who are mobility impaired. The location is very remote and local taxi wants to charge higher fare to take you here. You would know this is not meant for tourists when the reception asks for your car registration number. Saw a group of cross country bikers stay here and then was another wedding ceremony happening. Out of the only two restaurants in the area that happens to be in the hotel premises, one was closed for a private event and one was full of bikers. The restaurant menu states "the pictures are representative and does not reflect the real dish". The pizza looked good in menu but in reality was a toast covered in ketchup. The menu selection itself is cherry picked most greasy dishes from Malay/Indian/Western cuisine. Not a single vegetable in the menu. I am vegetarian and when asked for a vegetarian meal, the standard response was rice and salad. The hotel actually has higher price on Expedia where as if you book with them directly or via a local Malay platform, is cheaper. I would not call this property a resort; event place, definitely. I paid with e-pay. After completing the e-pay successfully, the restaurant said, "yes I understand the payment is completed, still we save guests credit card numbers for our personal records in our computers". I said, "No way Jose"
