”This is a section 8 motel with few rooms to book. Our room looked like it was out of the 70’s and smelled like an old aquarium! They have fashioned window air conditioners in the plate glass window for the room as the interior unit doesn’t work! The room was dark and dreary! We found out that this used to be a “hot sheets” motel! You need to ask permission from the front desk to use the pool as there is no lifeguard and a strict schedule. We will not be staying there again!”

The hotel itself is beautiful, but what truly makes our stay special is the incredible staff. Everyone is warm, professional, and welcoming. ”I didn't expect a lot from this lodging, but I was amazed by the renovation, the low prices during the week, the proximity to North Shore University Hospital, and how lovely the staff members were. It's not a super luxury place, but my room was updated nicely, the bed was great and the location is super convenient. Will use this one again!”
